after the dancing men I have this sudden ....urge. to watch watson beat up people next. Imagine a character with such a high moral compass and trauma suddenly forgetting everything after seeing his friend in danger.

I love how sherlock is represented differently in everyone's mind like his appearance, habits, personality etc etc

I've rewatched Sherlock twice. I'm watching it again and there's so much feeeeeellllsss.

Martin Freeman is a brilliant actor, to be honest. It's so beautiful to watch him blur the line between acting and real life.

My favourite moment is when he watches [ SPOILER ALERT ] Sherlock die in front of his very own eyes, it's like a part of his life was just cut off.

This series is hands down the BEST web series I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

I've recently watched the BBC adaptation of Sherlock Holmes and now I'm re reading all of the original Sherlock stories just to over analyze all the Johnlock moments because I can't get enough of those two ❤️

Sherlock brought John to the bank to make a point, to show Sebastian that he did have a friend, as we all know.

What I had not noticed, was how hurt Sherlock looked when Sebastian told John he was hated by everyone at university. He didn't want John to know he was an outcast.

Maybe it exists idk, but imagine art of John trying on Sherlock’s coat, and ofc it’s too big on him, so he ends up looking like a kid playing dress up. Sherlock would ofc add the hat out of his own amusement. 🤭

This is how I see John and Sherlock btw, doesn’t really matter which version, they’re blurring the lines between platonic and romantic in a way that makes what they have so very wholesome

really love dynamics that are like 'it honestly doesn't matter if you view them as romantic or platonic, the point is that they love each other. the type of love is inconsequential, all that matters is that it's there'. gotta be one of my favorite genders.

In The Man with the Twisted Lip, Holmes brings Watson to the St. Claire's home to spend the night. This wasn't planned, they meet in he opium den by chance and Watson joins Holmes in his adventure impromptu.

When they go to sleep, Watson is wearing a night shirt under his over coat, while Holmes is wearing his casual robe over his normal day clothes (ok cause he didn't actually sleep that night).

The only one who knew he was spending the night someplace else was Holmes, he's the only one who could have prepared.

I think people forget Watson’s purpose in the stories isn’t only to ask questions so that the case is revealed to the audience naturally. Watson’s purpose is also to ask questions in a way that reveals the case to Holmes. He’s not integral to Holmes’s work just to stroke his ego with the stories. He has weaved his way into Holmes’s mind so thoroughly that Holmes is at his best when Watson is able to lead the march.

Watson is Holmes' favourite hyperfixation, and most certainly vice versa...By that I also mean that they are deeply in love.

Holmes will be like “I only remember things that are functionally or practically important to my work and forget everything that isn’t” then go out of his way to memorise all of Watson’s habits and routines
