This is one of my favorite things Jack Skellington says in The Nightmare Before Christmas because the only people present that he can be referring to as "friends" are Sally and Santa Claus. Santa Claus who was kidnapped from his home by child hitmen and then presented to somebody's corpse which told him it was stealing his job and surprised that he isn't a lobster. Then the corpse stole his hat and let the orphan child mobsters take him to a torture dungeon to be executed and eaten by a bag. Then the corpse bursts in and murders the bag screaming how he can't believe the bag would mistreat you, his friend

if you have a brain that really likes creating stuff, like

like u REALLY just love to make stuff,

I want you to know something.

this is very, very important

• you do not need to make something every day to still be an artist, it's okay to relax and enjoy things other people have made

• even if you don't finish your projects, they are still valuable

• big number on social media is the most painful thing to pursue and it relies heavily on luck and does not determine your worth

• you need to make art that isn't up to your artistic standards before you'll have the skills to create art you can be truly proud of

• drink some water. it's not related to being an artist but I know you're dehydrated.

Recently got a sweet new job as a pest exterminator. Been a very long day of sitting through training videos, quizzes, and virtual lectures about termites and after the brain melting cram session was finally over, I looked back over the notes I was taking through my shift and I think I want to put this one up in the office like one of those motivational post-its

Finally found all of a Certain Scientific Accelerator (YIPPEEE) at a local used-media store and you bet your sweet ass freckles I am diving in headfirst without even coming close to finishing Index beforehand. Other than the context of Index I and a couple of YouTube clips of fights, this is a blind watch. First two eps are off to a hopeful start.
