Dating Oliver Wood Would Include...

(I've wanted to do this one for a while now so. for this I’m imaging that you are in the same house as him and in the same year.)

-for two first met in first year on the way to your very first broom riding lesson. You were walking with a small group of friends you had made on the train. when below and behold he comes sprinting down the corridor and slams right into you. before you can utter a single word he runs of shouting that he’s gonna be the best at quidditch someday and that he’s late for “quidditch practice”

- lets just say that after he saw you again in the lesson he came over and apologized whilst criticising you on your lack of broom knowledge. he hands you a book of Quidditch through the ages and saunters off to his group of friends.

- after that you see him more through the castle and you take notice of him in most of your lessons. a week goes by and before transfiguration starts you place the book on his desk with a thank you note inside.

- slowly you and him start talking. at first he was trying to help you with your quidditch knowledge but it then escalated into you helping him with other subjects.

-as time passes you quickly become fast friends all the way until his fifth year when he became Gryffindor quidditch captain. 

-you are both in the library when he first tells you that he likes you as more than a friend after you won a debate over why duelling is a much more important skill than playing quidditch (in the later years he says that he purposely let you win this debate)

- after that you become the ‘cute couple’ around the castle.

-when he sees you around school especially in the mornings and evenings he gives you plenty of forehead kisses. he promised himself that he would do this at least 5 times a day on the forehead.

-this is forgetting to mention the numerous amounts of kisses you will receive during the day. walking to potions, there’s Oliver giving you a small kiss on your cheek before you enter the class. 

-once he forgot that you were in class and he gave you a cheek kiss after a particularly long question. this ended up with Professor McGonagall separating you two, deducting 5 house points from Gryffindor and had Oliver in detention for it. (Fred and George try to mention this as much as possible to him as it never fails to make him stutter cause of course they happened to be sat in detention as well for a prank they had pulled earlier that day)

-whispering how much he loves you when you go to bed and when you see each other first thing in the morning.

-watching every single one of his quidditch games and cheering him on. sometimes getting a wink from him. which usually results in the opposite team sending the Bludger towards him.

-sitting with him holding his hand when ever he gets injured from quidditch and him always insisting that he’s fine. but you can tell that he’s not.

- receiving warm back hugs on the top of the astronomy tower as you point out constellations you know.

- walking around Black Lake with him at least once every week to help him ease his mind of quidditch and school work (but mainly quidditch)

-helping encourage him to win matches. and giving him an endless supply of encouragement, cuddles and kisses whether your team wins or looses.

- for special occasions he’ll take you out to dinner in the three broomsticks and taking a wonderful and peaceful broom ride after.

-him stealing kisses anyway he can think of. studying, there’s Oliver kissing you if you get a question right. after a detention. Oliver is waiting for you outside ready to surprise attack you with kisses afterwards.

-after some time he tells you that you are the only one that can call him Oli with out being told off.

- the twins flirting with you a lot to try and piss Oliver off in the hopes he will cancel quidditch practise this week (it never works though)

-over the summer every day you aren’t together you are constantly writing to each other.

-eventually he invites you to go with him to see all the quidditch games in the summer.

- spending equal time round each others houses during the holidays. 

-on your last year of Hogwarts he gives you a promise ring and he goes into the many reasons why he loves you. and that after you graduate that you will most definitely be marrying him. he kisses you as he places the ring on your finger and he tells you that he loves you more than he loves quidditch. and you simply smile as you know that, that is a lot.

How are you? 

I made this blog in hopes of support in helping to promote an Irish woman’s story as I try to make her dream come true for Christmas.

My Mother, Angela, suffers from illnesses such as diverticulitis, diabetes and arthritis. She is retiring soon to a council house she has looked after for the past 40 years.

The house has issues from, maggots, mold to crumbling walls and the ceilings cracking and falling down. As you can imagine, this has led to many health issues for my family but most importantly my mother. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough to buy our home and with my grandmother, now in the early stages dementia, it means my Mother will soon have to give up work and look after her fully.

The council will not allow my grandmother to move in with us as she is an old age pensioner and the house would need work to accommodate her needs. A Councillor, off the cuff, remarked the council would look at the fact she would not be able to contribute much towards rent and they wouldn’t waste the money on adapting the house on the possibility of her longevity.

When they find out that she has this illness, they may possibly kick her out of her own home and we will have no choice but to put her into a home which is the furthest thing that we want to do. We love her and want to care for her as she done for us.

My Mother is the most amazing and has the kindest soul of anyone you will ever meet and I am blessed to have her. She went to work right after my dad passed so that she could give myself and my brother the best life she could. She went to college at night trying to educate herself to get a good job for us. She’s worked long nights and traveled through desperate weather conditions to get to work, all to put a hot meal on the table for my brother and me.

She also works as a carer in a nursing home because she wanted a job that allowed her to give back. It’s a very tough job on her and she has sat by the bedside of many people comforting them as they passed away but it is a job she loves and is perfect for her as she has a heart of gold.

I have done an interview with a local newspaper  and radio station but unfortunately have not got much support.

The council won’t sell us our home because our income isn’t sufficient. My Mother has been trying to fix all the repairs over the years and has spent everything she has on them. She now has nothing for her retirement. Not even the house she worked so hard for.

We need to fix it up and adapt it so can care for my grandmother here but I desperately need help.

I have set up a fundraiser to buy the house and pay for all the repairs and make it accessible so that my Mother can move in my grandmother and care for her as she deteriorates further, found here:

I was planning on writing a head cannon on what it would be like to be Jeanine Matthews assistant and at your choosing ceremony picking dauntless. However, I have a full plot line in my head that would be too long to be a head cannon. so would you that be something you all would be willing to read? (also I am thinking of giving the character a love interest at some point if I fully write the fic, so i would love to hear thoughts about that)

 Some feedback would be lovely on this matter. 

Dating Young Sirius Black Would include....

·         Constant teasing and flirty banter all the time

·         Discovering the hidden passages and classrooms in Hogwarts together.

·         Making out in empty classrooms and corridors when you both want to ditch class

·         Being an unofficial part of the Marauders.

·         The boys being part of your second family and getting along with all of them equally.

·         Reading and talking about the latest muggle and magical books with Remus. Helping Peter not make a huge mess of the elf’s kitchen when he “cooks”. Planning new pranks with James on the daily.

·         Helping play the pranks and distracting teachers when they need them. Being rewarded with a chaste kiss from Sirius as they run away from the scene of their prank.

·         chilling out on the Gryffindor sofa and him sitting next to you and pretending to yawn whilst putting his arm around you. Meanwhile in the background the boys fist bump and do a silent cheer as it worked.

·         Laughing with him when James tries the exact same thing with Lily, but she ends up saying he needs to take a shower because he’s starting to smell.

·         Him not telling you he is an anigmus for the longest time as he was afraid of how’d you react.

·         After he tells you about it though he never misses an opportunity to lay in your lap in anigmus form so that you stroke his black fur

·         Passionate and heated kisses when you realise your alone.

·         Giving him warming comforting hugs when you see the shine in his eyes dull

·         Him sending you secret notes in class and keeping them all. You’ve only gotten caught once. And Professor Mcgonagall asked him to read it out loud to the class. So, he shamelessly stood in front of the class and said, “hey how are you, Beautiful?” and then he proceeded to wink at you.

·         Him being extremely protective of you so he tends to leave a lot of hickies which you are not so successful at hiding them all.

·         Him wrapping his arms around you from behind and he nibbles gently on your ear and kisses your neck. Then he whispers random comments into your ear which would always make you laugh.

·         Helping him with his family struggles and being there to support whatever decision he decides to make

·         Wearing his leather jackets all the time and sometimes when its just you two you wear just his leather jackets 😉

·         Quickly becoming the most badass couple in Hogwarts
