idk why i always tend to think of the purple bloods as if theyre quite different from the other trolls, kinda like how the jade bloods are isolated and used for a single purpose,.. maybe they are more violent / unpredictable for the purpose of making them better warriors / enforcers ,,, carefully engineered killing machines... in a juggalo way...

The molt takes the longest because they go through the largest transformation, growing huge and with a lot of mobility in the face to accommodate giant teeth that they use for displays or straight out fighting!!
