She’s my main character’s attendant and is super obsessed with serving her. So she’s awkward and uninterested in most people, just like Willy Wonka. She can be unhinged at times, just like Willy Wonka. I even subconsciously gave her pale skin and Willy Wonka length hair. It took me about three years to notice this lol

Just realized two of my characters have very strong Snow White/Rose Red immagery COMPLETELY ON ACCIDENT????

Some of the plot beats are so similar I'm genuinely shocked it took a YEAR to figure it out???????

Current hyperfixation (changed from obsession because I don't use that language for myself): I don't currently have one, but if I am very good and very, very careful, I might just be able to coax myself into hyperfixating on my papers that are due. I have been trying for a while now and I a getting close! I can feel it!

Last song: I was singing along to Tiny Dancer in the car.

Fav colour: still green. Specifically green like the underside of a maple leaf when the sun shines through. Though I also have a special place in my heart for literally any non-standard colour the sky turns (lavender, true purple, orange, gold, pink, azure, teal, lightning storm grey, snow-glow grey, that overcast white that is just a little too bright and so on...)

Sweet/spicy/savory?: I do like my sweets, but I always half the sugar. Every now and then I like a little spice but I am white and weak. (I did once eat for entire packets of admittedly weak wasabi to try to clear my nose during allergy season. It did work.) I love savory herbs and spices too, but in moderation. Migraines, ya know?

Relationship status: I need a boyfriend so bad. Please.

Last thing I googled: Festooned. To make sure it meant exactly what I thought it meant.

Some famous authors describe their characters as smelling like wind or musk. I just described one of my characters as smelling like a blown out candle.

This is so cool! You should totally cosplay. It might make you more comfortable to go to the con with someone. They can even cosplay with you. As for budget, I recommend thrifting. Last year I found these knee-high boots that were perfect for a cosplay I want to do and they were only ten dollars. You can also plan out everything you need so you can estimate how much it’ll cost.

Went to a con for the first time. Thinking of cosplaying next time but I'm also super scared to try it? Also budget is an issue.
