Kdramas I have watched
95. King the Land

I wasn't planning on watching this show but everyone was raving about it and I made the worst decision to start watching when only 4 episodes were released. It was torture waiting for new episodes.
I was soooo in love with this show and the characters right from the beginning. It is so funny and cute and a typical kdrama romcom.
This show uses every cliche to ever exist so brace yourself, I enjoyed the execution of most of them but some did feel excessive (the amusement park scene stands out while I type this) There were also a few scenes that I didn't see the point of like the limo scene felt so random.
I liked that the usual tropes were handled differently like the arranged marriage and the staff finding out about their relationship. It normally leads to several episodes of unnecessary torment for our FL so I really liked that it was solved quickly.
I was also invested in the side plots with her friend's relationships, I loved their friendship so much. And of course every scene with Halmeoni was pure gold.
Gu won was such a green flag and made my heart skip a beat a few times. I loved that our lead couple didn't waste many episodes denying/hiding their feelings.
I am recommending this show if you want something sickeningly sweet and fluffy to watch. If you want a complicated, edge of your seat, story driven show look elsewhere.
