Sonia stares out of the window and watches the rain fall down from the sky. The sound of various people chatting and pokemon playing fill the cafe with a pleasing atmosphere. The bell to the door rings suddenly and she looks over to see you puting your umbrella down. You look around and spot her in no time. She waves at you as you walk over and sit down. "Hey (Y/n), thanks for coming here with me."

"Oh it's no trouble Sonia, I'm glad we can hang out today. With me being a trainer and you working under Professor Magnolia we hardly have time to spend together so this is nice." She nods and before she can speak a waitress walks over. She orders a latte and you order a (f/d). The waitress leaves and you two continue your conversation.

"As unfortunate as it is at least the time we do get together is even better when we have lots to talk about."

"Ain't that right. Speaking of which how's your research going on the Darkest Day? I haven't had any luck with my search."

"I'm as stumped as you are." You chuckle and shake your head.

"Well if anyone can figure it out it's you. You're not just a beauty ya know, you're also brains." Sonia blushes at that comment and looks down.

"Oh come now, you help me with my research a ton. You're just as smart and just as attractive." You laugh and thank her for the compliment. With that the waitress returns with your drinks and you two continue on speaking. You tell Sonia that you decided to take a break on pokemon training in favor of the research about the Darkest Day. She said you didn't have too but you stood your ground. You wanted to help her but juggling both was too much.

It warmed her heart to see you choose her over your own path, though it also makes her feel a little guilty, but you reassured her. After that little conversation she pulls out a few books about Galar past and the both of you begin to read them. Taking notes and bouncing ideas of one another you don't notice the time flying by. "Ah! (Y/n), look at the time!" Sonia says in shock.

You look over at the clock in the wall and see it says 9:34 p.m. You look out of the window and see the moon peaking behind some clouds. You chuckle and rub the back of you neck. "Looks like we were so caught up in our study session we forgot to pay attention to the time." She laughs along with you and the two for you begin to pack up. Before you leave the cafe you order several pastries and begin to walk back to Sonia's place.

As you walk Sonia looks over at you and smiles. The way the moon shines it highlights your figure and her heart gives a flutter. When you two fist met she had to admit you were good looking, but that was nothing but a physical attraction she had towards you. The more you hung out though that attraction changed into a crush. She just adores the way you laugh, how your eyes shine, and just your entire personality.

But, do you feel the same way towards her? That question had plagued her mind almost every day. She hopes you do otherwise she wouldn't be able to live with herself for ruining your friendship over her one sided feelings. With how deep in thought she was she hadn't realized the two of you arrived at her place. "Hey Sonia, were here." She jumps and blushes.

Grabbing her keys she unlocks the door and the two for you walk in. "Granny were back!" You spot Professor Magnolia at the table and when she turns around she gives you two a smirk.

"(Y/n), glad to see you walked Sonia home. How polite. It is quite late I wonder why it took you two so long to return." Sonia's faces flushes a bright red as she scolds her. Grabbing your hand she huffs and drags you up to her room. "Don't be to loud kids." That comment really messes with Sonia as she lest out and embarrassed screech. You laugh but feel your cheeks heat up as well.

When you get into Sonia's room you put the food on her desk and watch as she flops onto her bed. Walking over to her you kneel by her side. "You good Sonia?" She huffs and nods, shifting her head to look at you. The two of you stare at one another for a bit and without realizing it the two of you lean in. You only realize what is happening when you feel her soft lips on yours, but you can't find the strength to pull away.

After a moment you two pull apart and Sonia stares at you with wide eyes. She sits up and starts to stutter."I-I am so sorry for kissing you. I-I know you don't like me like that so-!" You cut her off with another kiss and she looks at you in shock.

"Seems like ya don't know me all that well. I like you too Sonia. I have for a while." Her face soften and she pulls you onto the bed with her giving you another big kiss. After separating the two of you begin to cuddle and look at one another with dreamy eyes. That is until you make her laugh with your stupidness. "Ya wanna talk science to me?" She laughs and smacks your chest. The two for you share a few more laughs before the both of you get ready for the night.

She offers you to sleep beside her and you agree. Laying in bed with her your mind wonders and you think of how you met. You ran into her on your first day of your adventure and just started stumbling out apologies. That is until you saw her books on Galar history. Then your nerdy side came out and the two of you quickly bonded over that. You smile at that thought.

The two for you became close all because of your clumsy geeky side and you wouldn't have it any other way. As for Sonia, well she would say the same thing. Your first meeting was dorky but she wouldn't trade it for anything. Now you to are close because you both have an interest in the history of Galar and each other.

Warped Minds

Everything was going wrong. Heroes are breaking in and your father's lackeys were failing and falling quickly. Your father, Overhaul, had warned you of this day and had prepared you for it, but no amount of preparation could prepare you for such a grim reality. Holding onto Eri you watch as you father and Chrono fight off the hero with the red cape. The hero, who claimed to be Lemillion, announced his conviction to save Eri and take down your dad.

During the beginning of the fight Mirio noticed you holding onto Eri. This confused him greatly. 'Were you being held hostage? You seem to be around his age so it's possible.' Taking the chance he speaks to you. "Young lady, please stay away from these two! I'll take care of these villains then get you two to safety!" Your father, however, didn't like his declaration.

"Stay away from my daughter you absolute filth!" Shock runs through Mirio at Overhaul's words. Your his daughter?! Nighteye didn't say anything about Overhaul having an actual child but it could be a possibility that you were a factor they missed. With how enraged Overhaul is with him speaking to you it seems likely. But he can't focus on that right now. He has to focus on the fight.

With his attention off of you you place Eri down behind you and look around. You see Chrono's gun on the ground and pick it up and aim it at Lemillion. With determination you growl and yell out, "Get away from my father! If he's a villain then by his blood so am I! I'll do anything to make sure his dream come true!" And it catches everyone's attention. With that you shoot the quirk suppressing bullet at Lemillion and time seems to slow down.

Just as the bullet is about to hit the hero the walls surrounding you break and crumble. One of the chuckles of cement blocks the bullet but another hits you in the back of the head. You fall to the ground and as your vision fades the last thing you see is your father's worried eyes, Lemillion looking at you with the same expression and a new hero appearing. Then, nothing.

Your eyes slowly flutter open and you see the bright sun beaming down at you. For a moment you mind is fuzzy but quickly the memories resurface and you shoot up. Looking around you see various heroes, medical assistants and police surrounding the area. Your eyes survey the area and soon the land on your restrained father. "Dad!" You jump of the gurney you were laying on and try to rush to him. However, you are grabbed from behind and held in strong arms.

You see the one holding you from the corner of your eye is Lemillion. You struggle which brings the attention from everyone to you. "Stop! Let go of me! He need me! Let go of my father please!" The surrounding people give you pity look at whispers begin to fly

"He must have confused her from a young age as to what is wrong and right."

"She seems so distraught. She needs help."

Lemillion's grip on you gets tighter and he pulls you closer. "Do not worry I'm here to save you. You father can't hurt you anymore!" You look over to him with anger.

"You not saving me your hurting me! My father is my everything and you taking him away! Your no heroes, you're monsters!" You go slack in his arms and begin to cry your heart out. As you do Mirio looks down at you with a sad gaze. You seem so lost and scared. Surely with Overhaul as your father you don't trust heroes and don't understand what's really going in. But he can help you.

When he first saw you he saw a beautiful, pure and caring girl clingy to Eri in hopes of protecting her. He would've mistaken you for as a hostage in charge of caring for her but the previous events told otherwise. He picks you up and holds you close to him and smiles down at you with a caring expression. "Don't worry, I'll save you. I can see you're confused and with Overhaul as you father I'm sure he's warped your mind. You just need to rely on me."

You glare up at him with tear filled eyes. "Your the only ones with warped minds. I don't need saving." Your words fall on deaf ears though and Mirio just continues to smile.

"Just listen and rely on me."

It didn't take a genius to figure out something was wrong with you. Weather Report's blue eyes gaze at your shivering form that is slightly hidden from underneath a blanket with a worried look. "Dewdrop, whatever is wrong?" Walking over to you he kneels in front of your shared bed and moves the blanket to see you better. Your cheeks are stained with tears and your lip trembles.

Before you can tell him what is wrong a loud bang of thunder and bright flash of lightning scares you into his arms. You crys start up again and it all clicks together. You're scared of thunderstorms. Weather sighs and pulls you closer as he maneuvers the two of you back onto the bed. Wrapping you up in the soft blanket he runs his hand up and down your back as he calls out his stand.

With in moments the thunderstorm lessens into a light shower. He feels you beging to relax and he smiles. After a moment you speak up. "I didn't want you to know. I'm sorry."

He frowns and tilting your head up ever so gently he asks, "For what reason should you be sorry? Everyone has something they are afraid of and it is nothing to be ashamed about. I'll love every part of you; even your fears." A smile graces your lips and you snuggle up to him.

"Thank you." Is all you say but no more words are needed. Weather understands that you may have thought he would think of you as childish for having such a fear but he doesn't. He sees you as a bright ray of sunshine that just gets upset at the loud and harsh ways of a thunderstorm and he excepts that.

Holding you close his eyes start to close and the both of you begin to drift off in each other's arms at the sound of the gentle rain, one another's beating hearts, and the warmth you both share. Before he and you fall asleep he whispers into your ear, "Do not worry my prescious snowflake, I'll clear all the storms that head your way for your sake of peace."
