Adahm brutally murders someone until they're shreds and then flips the switch immediatly to be the most loving brother to Taylen in the most jarring way possible to anyone else around them.

Saoirse gets uncomfortable around mentions of fire or doesn't know how to feel about being friends with a fire mutant.

Rhys and Gwyn make their half-brother Adrien age at least ten years spiritually every time they pull off another insane shenanigan.

This week’s Art for Others (the series where I make some free art for others) featuring @mysticstarlightduck’s urban fantasy/adventure/horror coming-of-age story called What Lurks In The Hollow. The summary provided:

An urban fantasy/adventure mystery/supernatural horror coming-of-age story about a teenage girl who moves back to her small childhood hometown with her older brother, and about how they end up discovering a horrifying conspiracy lurking within the woods surrounding the town when a strange string of murders and disappearances catches their attention. As Amy investigates the secrets hidden in the past and beneath the roots of the woods, she discovers the woods are not only haunted, but that there’s a dreadful curse within it that has plagued this town ever since the day it was founded. With the begrudging help of her brother and the enthusiastic pursuit of the truth by her friend, the town’s eerie nature soon proves to be more than just wary citizens and winding woods riddled by conspiracies, but something darker, more sinister, lying just beyond reach. Much like the countless youthful bodies buried within the forest, heavily guarded by the curse and its ghouls. They make many allies, but also many enemies, both living and dead, as they dig up age-old secrets that never thought they’d see the surface. But will they be able to avoid the same fate as the countless lost lives haunting the woods when the cursebound Mayor makes them a target as well?

Brought back some techniques from my older collage art after I went through and reposted a bunch of them here and I think it turned out pretty cool. This might be my favorite piece I’ve made for art for others so far.

OC Questions on the Seven Forms of Love.

A little list of OC questions based on the seven types of love identified in Ancient Greek thought. Obviously this is a highly simplified presentation of some quite complex philosophical concepts from Classical History, intended more for the purposes of entertainment than education. I also left out Mania, which is arguably an eighth type of love (Obsessive), because I'm keeping it mostly positive in these tricky times!

Eros – Romantic, Passionate Love.

Is your OC romantic in the traditional sense? Do they enjoy giving or receiving gifts of flowers or confectionary? Or are there other courtship traditions from their culture of origin that are important to them?

How important is sex to them in a relationship? Do they see it as something essential to their happiness? Would they be able to remain in a monogamous relationship with someone they loved without sex?

How do they feel about public displays of romantic affection? Does it make them uncomfortable? How do they feel if a romantic partner kisses them in public?

Do they believe in love at first sight? Have they ever developed a crush or romantic (or erotic) fixation upon a stranger based on their appearance alone?

How closely is their opinion of their own beauty (or lack thereof) linked to their confidence? Do they see themselves as more or less worthy of love or sex based on how attractive they feel?

Philia – Affectionate, Platonic Love.

Does your OC have a Best Friend? If they do then how long have they known each other and how did they meet? If they don't then do they have a close group of friends they love equally? Or are they more of a loner?

Does your OC find it easy to make friends? Or are there barriers to them doing so? If so then are these due to issues of inclination, communication, or something else entirely?

What qualities does your OC most value in a friend? Loyalty? Shared sense of humour? Or something else?

Is your OC able to build close friendships with people very different from themselves? Perhaps in terms of culture, age or personality?

Is your OC able to love without necessarily needing or expecting reciprocation or reward? Or are all their relationships to some extent transactional? Have they ever loved another person unconditionally, whether a child or another adult?

Agape – Selfless, Universal Love.

Does your OC wish to make the world a better place? How far do they see that as being their responsibility? What lengths would they go to in order to help achieve this?

Does your OC feel a spiritual connection to the world around them? Do they have a particular love for nature or living things?

To what extent does your OC believe in the value (or even existence) of true altruism? Do they see an unselfish concern for the welfare of others as being naïve or foolish? Or as a moral quality to which people should aspire?

🎞️About/General Info🎞️

Amy's older brother, a very introverted and seriou 23-year old, Dylan was once a medical student, but after their grandmother died leaving them only debt, he had to dropout in order to take legal guardianship of Amy as they moved back to Vinethorn Grove. He resents their grandmother - Edith - greatly, both for the fact she was an absent figure in their life but because her gambling habits ruined his plans for the future. As of the start of the story, Dylan's especially withdrawn from anybody who isn't Amy, both due to the pressure of finding the jobs he needs to pay the bills and keep them afloat (while still paying their grandmother's debt) and because all that the small town of Vinethorn Grove has done since their arrival has been spreading harmful rumors and making his life even more complicated than it already was - especially after a local middle-aged woman, the 50-year-old Mrs Draycott, gets an unhealthy crush on him and, feeling spurned, sets off to destroy his life. When Amy and her newfound friends start investigating the town's bloody mysteries he is initially wary and against the idea of them digging into the Mayor's corrupt little secrets, but upon realizing that the teens would continue the investigation whether he liked it or not, Dylan decides to help them out in the search - if only to protect Amy, and begrudgingly, her friends.

She's the bane of his existence and there's few people he hates more.

Being unable to make ends meet or pay the bills, or especially, having to deal with the debt collectors that come knocking on his door.

People who try to scratch his Chevy or who almost bump into it with their own cars while being reckless.

Blackmail and people who try to use his insecurities against him.

Anything that puts Amy in danger or which makes him feel he has somehow failed her, that is his worst nightmare.

Memories of his grandmother - they always make him angry and upset, especially since her debt is a constant reminder of everything he couldn't achieve because of her and the dreams he had to leave behind.

Spending money trivially.

Being late to something important - both job wise and in his personal life.
