Of course, I'd be happy to post about my experience for Umineko so if you have any specific you want to hear my thoughts on June send in an ask! (Just keep in mind to keep the question limited to the first two episodes!)

For this post though I suppose I can talk about how I got interested in Umineko and then started playing it myself. I'm sure like a lot of other people they were probably familiar with Higurashi: When They Cry. While I never watched the anime or read the visual novel for it I was at least aware of the series.

I knew Higurashi from the anime it had in the early 2000s. I didn't know the anime was based on the visual novel of Higurashi. (I've also heard the anime was pretty accurate to the visual novel.) I did know because of its reputation for being so violent.

But besides that, I didn't get into it myself I'm not sure why. But I dunno maybe I just wasn't interested in it? Because I knew of it anime first I probably just put it on my watch list but never got around to it. (This was all years ago btw so I've known about Higurashi for a while now.)

But around this year around Spring, I did end up finding out about Umineko by this video!

It just kept on appearing in my YouTube recommendations and then after that more Umineko OSTs started showing up in my YouTube Recommend. Those are The Girls Witch Hunt, Fake Red Shoes, Liberated Liberator, System 0, and Worldend Dominator.

So through these videos, I ended up finding that they were all from Umineko! Not only Umineko but Umineko: When They Cry so I found it was from the same series. From mostly the Featherine song I ended up getting interested in her as a character. So she was one of the reasons I wanted to play Umineko as she's the reason I got into it.

While I knew little to know nothing about her she seemed cool and I wanted to know more about her. (Unfortunately, I did get spoiled about her but not about everything. And nothing for the rest of the visual novel so I'm still spoiler-free free thankfully.)

So after making a post on Reddit, I decided I'd end up playing Umineko first then Higurashi after. Thankfully you don't need to play Higurashi before Umineko so I was fine with jumping right into Umineko.

My laptop was kinda like dying...so I waited until I got a new one before I'd start playing Umineko. Then I went through learning about The Umineko Project mod and everything about that and how to download it. So that's how I'm experiencing Umineko through that mod and I'm glad I did cuz it's amazing!

But yeah that's all I have to say! Cuz after that I got into playing or well I guess reading but you know the same thing really. So that's what led up to me playing and getting interested in it!

The thing about alhaitham is that he knows what he wants. It isn't to say that he flirts with anyone, only with people he genuinely likes and could be in a relationship with. So if he ever finds out that he has feelings for you, he won't hesitate to test if he can develop something between you two.

It starts off casually. If you were just strangers/acquaintances, he'd start to pay more attention to you. Don't be surprised if he suddenly helps you carry a stack of books in the library, or sits on your table when there are other nearby tables available.

He introduces himself,

"Alhaitham. I don't believe we've officially met before, but I've seen you around."

He knows how to make small talk– a language scholar like him is all too familiar with conversation cues and how to use them to his favor. It helps that he has a basic idea of you; maybe your latest thesis, or what he heard you do for work, or the places you frequent.

In my opinion, Alhaitham is straightforward.

"Would you like to go to Puspa Café after this? I'd like to continue the conversation. Consider it my treat."

"What, like as a date?" You joke. After all, how could the stoic scribe suddenly ask you out? He probably found your thesis interesting, or he wanted to be well-acquainted for networking.

"If you don't mind." He says and your mouth falls open, momentarily stunned.

"M-me?" You stutter.

"Yes."

"You're asking me out on a. . . date date?" You emphasize twice, trying to make sure he doesn't mean a study date or a business meeting.

"Is it so surprising that I'm hitting on you? I wouldn't have sat on your table or start a conversation if I didn't like you."

"Ah." You say, speechless.

"So. . . Puspa Café? Or would you rather we set a time for tomorrow, somewhere nicer."

Alternatively, think of an early, casual confession. The kind where you're both just hanging around and he suddenly goes;

"You do know I like you, right? More than just a friend."

And he's not waiting for you to respond or anything, he just wants to get it off his chest because he's not the type to hesitate on his feelings. You don't have to outright reject him or confess your own feelings, he just continues doing whatever.

Cyno Headcanons - (Male Reader)

June 7, Post 3 of the "30 Days Fanfic Event"

As the official King of Invocations and an avid TCG player, Cyno loves battling against you in a duel.

After finishing his duties as the General Mahamatra, he will quickly come to you to excitedly play.

Furthermore, he had recently mentioned wanting a custom TCG painted card of you. Thus leading to spending a night trying to paint yourself on a TCG card alone, wanting to give Cyno the painted card as a present.

When morning arrived, you were finally done with the card.

Cyno smiled softly, cherishing the card that you gave to him. 

He now shows off the present that you gave him to everyone whenever playing TCG.

Ah, Cyno told this person about the present already? Doesn’t matter, hear it again peasant.

No matter where you are, you can never escape the jokes that Cyno has for you.

“Someone asked me if I saw a fungi today, and I said that I saw one in the mirror this morning.”

“...?”

“Get it? Because I’m a ‘fun guy’ with my jokes.”

“...My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.”

Hello! I'd like to request Nagito with a reader (can be gn, but preferably fem) who is extremely compassionate (like literally feels bad for objects) and very affectionate (verbally and physically). They will just be looking at him silently one second, then the next, they will be pressing kisses onto his face while calling him the most beautiful and sweet things (my beautiful dove, my precious angel, etc.). Also, this may be very specific, but could you also add them hating and literally not believing in the word worthless, because they think everything is beautiful and valuable just for existing? You're the only one I've found recently writing with Nagito included this month, and this request has been on my mind for so long omg. Another beautiful sunny day then again the weather on Jabberwock Island always seems to be beautiful. But not even the weather on this Island could compare to the beauty of his S/O. Speaking of Nagito was making his way to Hotel Mirai to meet up with his S/O and the other students.

It's a routine everyone had agreed to and has been following for some time now. Everyone would meet up with each other and have breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel. They would talk with each other while eating and it's something everyone enjoyed.

Now arriving at the hotel Nagito felt as though nothing could go wrong. "Ouch!" Ah, maybe he spoke too soon... Nagito had looked around to see who had gotten hurt and it was none other than his S/O.

Ah, this must have been his luck of course something bad would happen as soon as he showed up. "Oh, I'm sorry! So sorry!" You spoke after you had hit your hip on one of the tables in the restaurant. Hiyoko could be heard giggling at the sight in front of her.

You were apologizing to a table? Nagito knew you were kind and community however maybe you were a little bit too kind and compassionate. Of course that didn't make Nagito love you any less it put a smile on his face knowing his S/O was like this.

From the Sharpe pain that you were feeling in your hip, you had put one of your hands on it but it didn't last that long. To make sure you were alright himself Nagito made his way over to you. "Hello, my hope are you alright?"

"Ah, darling! It's nice to see you how did you sleep?" You spoke as you looked at Nagito with a smile even him just being around you filled you with such happiness. "Yes, my hope I sleep well. But it seems my luck has caused you pain I'm sorry trash like me made this happen."

"Nagito stop that! What have I told you about saying such things about yourself? I was just being clumsy that's all so please don't say such things about yourself alright?" You spoke as you hugged Nagito and kissed him on the cheek.

"Ew gross get a room!" Hiyoko spoke as stuck out her tongue in disgust. "Hiyoke leave them be!" Mahiru scolded her.

"Trash, worthless these are words I hate the most, especially when they are used to talk about someone. To hear you say these things about yourself Nagito it hurts. Because I know you Nagito and more importantly I love you. I know your worth and I know what a great person you are so words like that are the last thing that should be said about you, especially by yourself."

Nagito smiled as he hugged you back giving a kiss to your forehead. "Thank you my hope it makes me glad to hear you say that. I love you and with you by my side, our future together will be bright."
