Has anyone else played Umineko? I started playing in it recently. I just finished playing through Episode 2 a couple of days ago. I've been enjoying my time with it so far! The music, characters, story all of it is amazing!
I can't wait to play through the rest of the episodes so I can experience more Umineko. Currently, my favorite characters are Rosa, Kanon, and Natsuhi! If I had to pick one character as my favorite then it would have to be been Natsuhi!

Oh, now this is something I didn't expect! I haven't finished reading through Umineko yet. (Though I want to try and finish the Questions Arc by the end of the year.) So if I were to take requests for it that would be pretty tricky.
As a person might request a character I haven't met in Umineko yet or might say spoilers without knowing I haven't played Umineko yet. So taking requests at the moment for Umineko would be pretty tricky. Plus since I'm only halfway through the Questions Arc I could end for a character and I might end up making them OOC.
So taking requests for Umineko at the moment it's very tricky. But honesty? It is something that I do want to do. I'm only halfway through the Questions Arc of Umineko but I've fallen in love with it.
So yes I'll take requests for Umineko even though it is tricky for me to do so at the moment. Since there's the issue of me still playing through the game there's a couple of ways to go about this.
I can make one post and constantly update it on my process on Umineko. Or I can make new posts for my process on Umineko. (Or doing both of these might be good.)
If I talk any more I'll just keep rambling on and on so it's probably best I do make a post about requests for Umineko. From just answering your question I've gotten an idea for a fic already!

Of course, I'd be happy to post about my experience for Umineko so if you have any specific you want to hear my thoughts on June send in an ask! (Just keep in mind to keep the question limited to the first two episodes!)
For this post though I suppose I can talk about how I got interested in Umineko and then started playing it myself. I'm sure like a lot of other people they were probably familiar with Higurashi: When They Cry. While I never watched the anime or read the visual novel for it I was at least aware of the series.
I knew Higurashi from the anime it had in the early 2000s. I didn't know the anime was based on the visual novel of Higurashi. (I've also heard the anime was pretty accurate to the visual novel.) I did know because of its reputation for being so violent.
But besides that, I didn't get into it myself I'm not sure why. But I dunno maybe I just wasn't interested in it? Because I knew of it anime first I probably just put it on my watch list but never got around to it. (This was all years ago btw so I've known about Higurashi for a while now.)
But around this year around Spring, I did end up finding out about Umineko by this video!
It just kept on appearing in my YouTube recommendations and then after that more Umineko OSTs started showing up in my YouTube Recommend. Those are The Girls Witch Hunt, Fake Red Shoes, Liberated Liberator, System 0, and Worldend Dominator.
So through these videos, I ended up finding that they were all from Umineko! Not only Umineko but Umineko: When They Cry so I found it was from the same series. From mostly the Featherine song I ended up getting interested in her as a character. So she was one of the reasons I wanted to play Umineko as she's the reason I got into it.
While I knew little to know nothing about her she seemed cool and I wanted to know more about her. (Unfortunately, I did get spoiled about her but not about everything. And nothing for the rest of the visual novel so I'm still spoiler-free free thankfully.)
So after making a post on Reddit, I decided I'd end up playing Umineko first then Higurashi after. Thankfully you don't need to play Higurashi before Umineko so I was fine with jumping right into Umineko.
My laptop was kinda like dying...so I waited until I got a new one before I'd start playing Umineko. Then I went through learning about The Umineko Project mod and everything about that and how to download it. So that's how I'm experiencing Umineko through that mod and I'm glad I did cuz it's amazing!
But yeah that's all I have to say! Cuz after that I got into playing or well I guess reading but you know the same thing really. So that's what led up to me playing and getting interested in it!
While I may not know much about Natsuhi as I'm still playing through Umineko. I still somehow feel a connection to her. I dunno I just relate to her and I don't really know how to explain. But from what I've learned about her and from what I see I definitely relate to her. Of course, I also love her so much she's my all-time favorite Umineko character and I'll defend her forever. So even if may be just a head cannon or whatever Natsuhi being autistic just makes me feel more happy and comfortable.

I'm Going to Start Episode 3 of Umineko!
It's been a good while since I have finished the second episode of Umineko so I'm really looking forward to playing episode 3! I really don't know much about this episode which is great as I'm still spoiler free for Umineko. But I do know the OST Fake Red Shoes plays at some point during this episode. Before playing Umineko It's one of the few OST's I came across and listened to more that I'm willing to admit LMAO. But yeah, don't have much else to say other than I'm looking forward to and am excited to play episode 3!
There are so many new music tracks in Episode 3 of Umineko and all of them are amazing! I really like them! My favorite has to be Dance of The Moon Rabbits cuz like just by the name it does make me want to dance! I've listened to it as it's played through the course of Episode 3 and I just enjoy it each time!
Just finished Episode 3 of Umineko. I have a lot to say! But also not a lot to say? It's difficult to put into words for how much I liked Episode 3. The Episode's just keep getting better one after another! There was a couple of new characters and music tracks that I really enjoyed! AHHHHHH I DON'T WANNA MENTION IT BECAUSE OF SPOILERS BUT THERE WERE SO MANY TWISTS AND THINGS REVEALED THAT SHOCKED ME SO BAD!!!

Also...while it wasn't full tears it was very close and might have have been. I cried 2 times during Episode 3 of Umineko. Honestly I didn't think while playing Umineko I would cry or become that sad but Episode 3 definitely proved me wrong.

Being a fan of Umineko is also hard because like. You have to warn people that hey it’s gothic horror it does feature incest and sexual violence but it’s handled respectfully. But also you have to contend with the creator’s leotard fetish. And if you choose to read the manga instead of the visual novel (which I did) some of the drawings are really eyebrow raising including those of a character who is an ageless nonhuman who stopped maturing when her creator died and thus looks like a child. And there’s this other supposedly adult character who looks like a child and she’s a sadist who jokes about “mind rape” and it’s really tasteless. And the main character jokes about groping his cousins’ boobs. More than once. But no I swear the actual incest and sexual violence is treated with respect I swear you have to trust me hey listen plEA
But like actually it’s so strange to me that this man wrote a story that treats sexual violence with appropriate respect and gravity but at the same time threw in a thousand year old little girl who wears a leotard
