I absolutely adore the way the different face shapes make sense when each scug's diet is taken into consideration, and kudos for giving the fighters some shoulders to hurl spears with! I am also absolutely in love with gourm being even denser than normal. Spreamaster being kinda thin also makes a lot of sense since their digestive tract is in their tail. And I love that riv has longer arms, which would be great for maneuverability underwater.

Gourmand's got some Tengu-esque face boobs and thicker skin on their back for ease of rolling things over like a boulder

Arti's got some leftover belly fat from her pregnancy and brief child-rearing. I always pictured her as a first-time mother (Hence why she was alone and seemed somewhat inattentive when she lost her first pup). Even with how active she is, it doesn't seem to go away... very distressing for her. An empty reminder of what was lost.

Survivor/Monk/Hunter are the Bog Standard for Slug Cats but I had some fun with freckled markings to give them their little nosies

Spearmaster has a sort of an Iterator-esque face, or at least not as much of a snout as the average Scug. Because Suns kinda used their own face as a template- after getting back from their second journey to Pebbles, they got some face markings :3c

Rivulet's tail has fins on its sides, helping them slap the water and Ploink. Their tummy and little goblin hands are also COATED in wetness which helps them slide around
