I found this little (actually pretty big!) guy crawling across the floor and trapped him under a glass but I felt bad since I won’t take him outside until morning so I gave him a bottle cap with water in it in case he gets thirsty

He likes it! (or he’s plotting my demise, idk)

I made my mom listen to it for 8 hours and I cannot figure out her music taste. The only song she verbalized not liking was Heads Will Roll by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I caught her humming or singing along to The Eurythmics, Alanis Morissette, The Kinks, Panic! at the Disco, The Who, MARINA, and Elton John (she made me turn the volume way up for Elton John because boomers gonna boomer)

I finally got around to making a playlist of all the songs I don’t want to forget exist and thought it would be perfect to listen to on my multi state road trip today. It has everything from Rick Astley to Three Days Grace, the aesthetic is aestheticing….

…. but how in the ever loving fuck did it end up 14 hours long???

Grad school is lying to you. You can indulge fixations on obscure topics on your own time. You can sit in a library color-coding notes on articles printed from JSTOR for free. You can argue with dead philosophers in essay format whenever you like. Academia is a state of mind.

It causes me psychic damage because I know they’re cooler than me AND are more secure in themselves than I am.

But if they stopped doing their thing I’d be mad on their behalf.

i just literally don't get how someone being a furry endangers anyone. like how. explain. what the person shopping for milk in the grocery store next to you wearing dog ears and a tail is actually murdering you via psychic damage? shut the fuck up just let people exist in ways that bring us joy my god some people are so joyless

A bird got stuck on my porch by coming in through a hole in the screen and then not being able to figure out how to get back out.

I think it was a white breasted nuthatch, it was adorable but I didn’t take a photo since it seemed distressed and I wanted to help it asap.

I had to go hold open the outside door and then crouch down so it could tell there was a way out.

Anyway birds are cute but sometimes a little silly so don’t forget to help them out if they need it.
