Hehehe I already said how close, in my opinion, dark academia and dead boy detectives are. But I was literally reading a fanfic and there was a line referencing I'm nothing in my soul, if not obsessive from The Secret History...

putting a cute lesbian date (that turned out to be a psychotic murder... strange but yes, that's so sapphic) with a Cigaretts After Sex song in the background IN THE SAME EPISODE WITH THESE LINES "I think it's best if we stop seeing one another.
