I Dont Know If I Should Be Worried Or Proud For The Kiddos Cause I Still Remember One Teachers Day Where

I don’t know if I should be worried or proud for the kiddos cause I still remember one teacher’s day where I had to sub with a bunch of others in order to teach ten year olds. One girl decided to be disruptive by T- posing during the lesson so I T- posed back to assert dominance and it worked. Others kept asking if I was a girl or a boy and got really confused when I panicked and said yes then left. Another boy kept insisting I was Harry Potter and Ron Weasley’s forbidden love child. There was also a bunch of kiddos who told me I couldn’t say y’all which I started doing unironically cuz like “I can say y’all if I wanna say y’all, how you gonna stop me”.

Kids are just wild man.

LQG noticing SQQ's animosity towards SQH: what do you have against Shang Qinghua?

SQQ: evidence

I had the idea of LJH, w/o telling anyone, packing a basket and going up the mountain to thank SQQ so much for accepting her son as a student and giving him foods. SQQ weak against her like NYY, but then he discovers that LQG, that barbarian, is courting her. SQH ducking and covering from the absolute war that would result. It amused so I thought I'd share.

Shen Qingqiu WOULD probably be soft for Luo Jiahui, if perhaps a little harder on Luo Binghe and Liu Qingge (and Shang Qinghua) for it! Wow, it is funny to think about Shen Qingqiu being inwardly appalled at Luo Jiahui’s taste in men.

Shen Qingqiu dragging Shang Qinghua for letting his sister-in-law marry Liu Qingge is an amusing thought. Shang Qinghua would be so confused.

Hey, I just had a thought, and since you write SQH so well, I wanted to know what you think and how you might write this. So, I headcannon SY as very sick in his last life but also from a wealthy family so he has plenty of money to spare. So since we know Airplane was writing for money, what if after the first few chapters that Airplane posted, before too much had to be sacrificed for papaya for money, SY sent a comment or something that basically said, you were doing so good, the hell is this? Are you trying to write for money? Because I will pay you to keep your writing the way it was. And since SQH had said before that he hadn't wanted to sacrifice so much of his story for money, he takes SY up on it. I mean, at first, he was sarcastic back to SY since he didn't think SY would actually follow through. But they work something out and SY basically is Airplanes patron, with the caveat that they never meet. So they still eventually transmigrate but into more of how Airplane wanted his story to be. What do you think?

Thanks! I think that’s an interesting concept and a fun setup! How I would go about it would totally depend on the main character and the main relationship(s) of the fic, and what I wanted to explore with those characters and that relationship. It sounds like either Airplane or Shen Yuan would be the MC here and that Cucumberplane friendship at least would be present.

There’s really lots of different fics present in that premise!

Just the backstory itself might make a fun one shot. Like, a couple thousand words about these two assholes somehow manage to form a genuine human connection over stallion novels on the internet? I think that could be funny and oddly sweet. With some fun themes about how wish fulfillment and past resentments come out in stories and our perceptions of them.

But I could also see Shen Yuan deciding not to engage in a real relationship with Airplane at all. Like, not just them not meeting in person, but maybe Shen Yuan decides to back off because he doesn’t want to “take over” Airplane’s creative process? Denying them a potential friendship? Maybe he’s partly embarrassed over the fact that he basically “keeps” an artist, except he’s the patron of the author of tropey web-novels. (Shen Yuan: “No offense, Airplane, but I would rather tell my parents I’m paying for an expensive new drug addiction.” Airplane: “Little bit of offense taken, but also, haha, I get it.”)

So, going into the transmigration, the way I’d approach it would definitely depend on the relationships I wanted to explore. If it was about LBH and SY, it would probably be about Shen Yuan unable to cope with knowing Luo Binghe is destined to be a bitter and alone “man who has everything”. And Shen Yuan (idk whether he’s SQQ in this one) clumsily trying to lead Luo Binghe away from that sad ending of trusting no one, despite the harsh world.

I am assuming that MBJ and SQH would not be the forefront of this idea because I don’t think their situation would change that much?

The relationship popping out at me here is Cucumberplane (which I could see being done platonically or romantically) and the question is whether or not you want to give them the same canonical transmigration time difference. I would personally find it a little difficult to pull off a romance with the decades-long difference if they weren’t actually friends before transmigration, otherwise I imagine Airplane would have moved on from that acquaintance-ship. 30-40 years is a long time to be without someone.

I guess whatever the situation, if the focus was SY and Airplane’s relationship, then it would be the two of them versus Airplane’s depressing worldview. Like, yeah, it was kind of interesting to read, but do the two of them really want to live that sort of story? And you could do some fun stuff with two shut-ins actually engaging with a fantasy world and trying to discover for themselves what the best parts of life are. That is, if they have any ability to manipulate the plot when they arrive, and it’s not just “mission objective: survive” time for them.

I am quite fond of “arranged marriage / forced marriage” concepts, so I was thinking about how that unfortunately that doesn’t really work with Moshang in a Canon AU, except then I remember that Tianlang-Jun (agent of chaos and incurable romantic) would probably LOVE the whole “oh yeah, as the so-called ‘Demon Emperor’ I can matchmake anyone I like for funsies” thing.

In the “servant to a different king” AU I proposed months ago, Shang Qinghua (without System restrictions) dumps Cang Qiong Mountain Sect before becoming head disciple and saves Tianlang-Jun and Su Xiyan. So, let’s say that in this AU, Shang Qinghua anonymously gives Su Xiyan a heads-up and does successfully become the candidate for the next Lord of An Ding Peak.

Only, in that vague time before “when Tianlang-Jun was supposed to be imprisoned” and “the ascension of the new generation of Peak Lords”, Mobei-Jun’s family gets in trouble with the newly married, new father, newly interested in politics to protect his family Demon Emperor. Linguang-Jun implicated his brother in some scheme and cozied up in the hopes of being the Demon Emperor’s “appointed” next Northern King, maybe?

Only the scheme backfires because Tianlang-Jun is a spiteful bastard (and maybe not entirely fooled by this web), so he’s like, “Hey, what if I kill the Northern King and keep his body? What if I don’t give him back afterwards?” So, Mobei-Jun’s family will lose thousands of years of inherited power. Mobei-Jun’s family is panicking over this (including Linguang-Jun), which Tianlang-Jun finds delicious, and he’s like, “Hey, what WOULD you do in order for me to let him live or at least give you back the body? Dance for my amusement here, people; I want GOOD suggestions.”

SOMEWHERE along the line (don’t know how or who suggests it), marriage to a human pops up as an idea. Tianlang-Jun is married to a human and has a half-human son. Wouldn’t that show the Demon Emperor that Mobei-Jun’s family doesn’t hate humans and didn’t try to kill the empress?

Mobei-Jun basically exists to be the next Northern King and hey, he knows a human being, so he grabs head disciple (almost Peak Lord) Shang Qinghua from An Ding Peak and brings him before the Demon Emperor. (Mobei-Jun is kind of panicking here. Whatever his personal feelings for his father are, they CANNOT lose his father’s body.) Mobei-Jun’s explanation of the situation to Shang Qinghua on the way is not very good and very confusing, but part of that is because the situation is very ridiculous because Tianlang-Jun is ridiculous.

So, young Shang Qinghua is forced to spin a forbidden love story for the Demon Emperor (and possibly a large audience of demon royalty/nobility), in which he saved Mobei-Jun’s life and they’ve been secretly seeing each other for years. Tianlang-Jun is like, “Wow, I was probably just going to destroy the body no matter what they did, but this IS good. Keep talking. I really relate to this forbidden demon-human love story you have going on. A powerful demon lord and a human cultivator? Love it!”

Shang Qinghua’s explanation is SO GOOD, in fact, that Tianlang-Jun decides not only to let the current Northern King live after all, but to personally throw Shang Qinghua and Mobei-Jun a fabulous wedding.

Tianlang-Jun: “Xiyan and I eloped, so we didn’t really get to do the whole Big Fat Demon Wedding thing, but you two can! This is great. Xiyan and I don’t have any other demon-human couples to hang out with. You two should have kids A.S.A.P. so my son can have some half-human friends around his age.” (As far as Tianlang-Jun is concerned, if they ARE faking it, he’s going to make them do the whole monkey-dance anyway just to see how far they’ll take it.)

Shang Qinghua is like, “Great! Sounds great!” While Mobei-Jun is completely stone-faced (like, more than normal somehow) because he doesn’t actually want to marry his human servant, but can’t object without bringing down all the consequences just avoided.

So Shang Qinghua has to go back to Cang Qiong Mountain Sect and say, “Yeah, I’m leaving the sect. I’m stepping down. Can’t be the next An Ding Peak Lord, sorry. I’m getting married.” And people are like, “Well, you can be a Peak Lord and married, that’s fine.” And Shang Qinghua has to be like, “Haha, yeah, no. Expect an extremely dramatic messenger from the Demon Emperor tomorrow, probably complete with fireworks and confetti. I’m kind of being willingly forced to marry the son of the Northern Demon King.”
