god bless you all :)
I think it's a lot easier for modern people to imagine that Jesus is always with us..
Because so many things are always with us now. Pretty much anywhere in the world, you still have the same internet, you can still log into tumblr 'unto the ends of the earth'.
So in the same way, we can access God's love and companionship regardless of our physical location
Celtic Christianity so so cool!
"They are unusual people: dedicated, and full of the Holy Spirit. They are also sometimes anti-social, quirky, and plain obstinate. They love remote islands, where they can contemplate the Creator through the creation - sun, moon and stars, winds and frost, mountains and seas and forest, birds and fish and great seals. They bless freely, and they curse freely. They lived plainly, and prayed much."
-Prof. Kathleen Jones on the Celtic Saints
Definitely my favourite flavour of christianity.
