Even back at school when everyone gathered in the park to watch fat Barry crash his moped into the swings you were alone, watching from the midst of some piss soaked bushes.

No one invited you, but you lived vicariously through the stories of your peers.

If you close your eyes you can almost imagine it’s you kissing sad, panda eyed, unconfident Lucy beneath the Princess Diana memorial-rather than Joe with his hair that looks like it’s smothered in goose fat and his one pirate looking earring.

Everyone else grew up so fast. Most of them had kids before they were twenty, still kids themselves really.

Not you though. You just watched it all unfurl before you; beans and bacon, the lives of others experienced by proxy of Facebook or an afternoon in the park spent watching mother and son play and wishing more than anything you had a real reason to be there.

Beans though. They’re so versatile. Bacon, makes everything better. Or so they say.

But you can’t help but wonder…did the people who said that, did they ever feel quite like you do?

Alone. Cold beans. Half remembered glimpses of someone else’s happiness.

Wilmington Police Shoot, Kill Man in Wheelchair

Delaware police officers shot and killed a man in a wheelchair after responding to a call that the man had a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The police would not release any additional information when contacted by telephone

About 30 people, friends and family of McDole, gathered to mourn his death on Thursday morning,Delaware Online reported. They expressed doubts about the police justification for the shooting, and the man’s uncle, Eugene Smith, described what happened as “an execution.”

“That’s what it was. I don’t care if he was black, white, whatever,” Smith added. “I didn’t see no gun. He had a book bag, but I never seen a gun.”

The race of the officers involved in the shooting has not been released, but the unverified video appears to shows three white officers fire at McDole, who was Black. This was the second police-involved shooting to occur in Wilmington this year.

There’s people standing around everywhere totally unconcerned about this guy but the cop is scared shitless. They look like the biggest pussys in the world shouting at a man with an invisible gun. And then murder the fucker.

Ill never understand why these cops are so fucking trigger happy and the general public just accepts it. Yet these fucking animals are just itching to pop some rounds off. Makes me sick to my stomach.
