I’m uneasy with the quote/idea “The long arc of the universe bends towards Justice.”

I don’t think it’s historically true, and I feel like it absolves us from our own responsibilities in the universe.

I’ve recently landed on:

“We must bend the long arc of the universe towards Justice.”
