Trouble: can't braid hair and will likely cause all sorts of knots and tangling, but would still be happy to do it if you were willing to suffer through it!

Tallys: can braid hair and would happily do so if asked!

Shery: can braid hair and would happily do so if asked!

Riel: no (but he may deign to brush your hair several years into the relationship if asked)

Chase: can braid hair (well, he can braid rope, and it really can't be that hard to figure out) and would happily do so if asked!

Red: can braid hair (sisters) and would happily do so if asked!

He could have refused and told her he didn't want to help make her look like somebody who had apparently betrayed his duty, but he did what made her happy.

Just do NOT imagine Aaravos braiding Leola’s hair every morning, when they probably talk and laugh at each other’s antics and jokes

Don’t imagine Leola swinging her legs as she doodles on the floor, carefully adding a mustache after deliberation

Don’t imagine Aaravos having this soft, warm smile as he watches from his table, thinking he could do this forever

Don’t imagine Aaravos stuck in his prison, haunted by the same memories everyday for centuries (he can’t do this forever)

i just think that braiding hair is such an intimate thing. bc it takes so much time and effort to braid someone's hair properly it always ends up becoming an excuse to hang out as your hair gets done. idk i think its just a really nice thing
