Arthur wasnt born blind, and when he had sight he always saw blind people in media with white eyes or closed eyes. So when he himself was blind, he asked if his eyes were white now. And when he was told no he whould try and keep his eyes closed (but whould quickly forget about it again)

First Arthur and John interaction went something like this;

Arthur: can you tell me what color are the walls?

John(exitedly): yellow!

Arthur: NO, its BLUE, even I know that and im BLIND!

Charlie (aka Noel) has a friend named Dennis (aka Butcher). When Charlie introduces his bestie with Arthur and John, at first Dennis is quite the bully, but after some time they become close and sit together at lunch. And when one of them notices Oscar all alone they invite him to sit too. They form a small friend group.
