13 YEARS!!! Can you believe it?!

Whether you were there at the very beginning back in 2011 or you've discovered this fandom pretty recently (like me!) I think we can all agree that Ninjago is a one-of-a-kind show!

A big thank you to all the writers, producers, voice actors, and animators for making this show what it is today!

And of course, thank you fellow fans and content creators for making this fandom so fun!

I didn't have anything really prepared (because I only found out it was the anniversary this morning!) but I've been working on some Pixal designs! Perfect timing!

I included an alternate "disguised" design as well because I figured her, and Zane would probably like to go out on dates and go places in the city without being recognized as two of Ninjago's protecters and being asked for autographs. ;)

Smiley (Star Wars OC)

When I was trying to think of a name for this blog, I randomly remembered an old Star Wars OC of mine. This is Smiley, the little baby Nexu. Nexu's are one of my absolute favorite Star Wars creatures! Thus, the name of my blog "nocturnal nexu" was born!

Maybe I'll draw some more of Smiley being a cute little alien kitty in the future! :)

Y'all!!! We need a word for the opposite of artists' block! I have so many things I want to draw right now!!!! Too many things!!! What should we call it when you have too many drawing or writing ideas?

(Including a #vanillacakeshipping piece that I'm super excited to start sketching! Can't wait to show you @the-ninjago-historian!)

Here's a piece I did earlier this year of Cole showing off his lava powers. I followed a tutorial from Gold07Arts on YouTube, and I learned so many things about digital art, and using the different tools in art programs. I'm SO happy with how he turned out! Especially his lava fist!
