Thrift store find!

I really love summertime

Some highlights of yesterdays river trip

• letting the fish suck at our skin. When they felt safe, we had over ten fish each on our hands! Creating a momentary symbiotic relationship. Trust in nature

• a kid in the family by us yelling “we are all connected!!” (Referring to their tubes, but true)

• we were skipping rocks, and then the groups near us began skipping rocks. It was such a sweet human moment

• the feeling of drizzling rain on already wet skin.

•we somehow chose the best fruit ever. Seriously the cantaloupe MELTED in my mouth. The cherries were so dark and sweet.

•getting to watch Aleric in his element (fishing)

•looking up at the caves along the cliff face, the same ones I imagined climbing into as a little girl.

•we got to see lots of cool bugs !!

My happy place

I have a folder called Time is a Flat Circle in which I collect evidence of humanity. Here is most of them.

To all dykes, specifically mentally ill and/or neurodivergent dykes: Journal and write. not just online, but in notebooks too. Because someday, when you're dead, people might read your writing and understand not just you, but other mentally ill dykes as well. Society doesn't care much for us because we don't take care of men. "If a woman does not take care of a man, then what is she good for?" <- what people often say.

If you write then the people in the future will read your writing and they might understand you, and people like you, better. I am an autistic butch lesbian. I journal not only for myself, but so people can maybe read my journal and get to better understand other autistic dykes like myself. I want to be a hero to someone someday, even if I'm dead. I want to be understood, and I want people to understand. I want my future sisters to feel hopeful because of me, even if I dont do much in this life. I want to inspire other lesbian and autistic people to be write, and I want their writings to be read by people of the future.

I will be part of the past someday, part of history, even if Im unable to make a big change in the world, I will be able to inspire at least ONE person, Im sure.

And i want to write a book. And i want u to as well. write about yourself, and your life. Please. Do it for your future siblings... your future family. Do it for all of us.

NONE of us will ever be forgotten.
