i have discovered an even earlier precursor to barbenheimer

One thing that pisses me off is people seeing fish in aquariums (the establishments, not home aquariums) and being like “It’s so sad because the ocean is so big and the tank is so small and they’ll never know freedom blah blah blah-“ I’m not talking about sharks and marine mammals here but the majority of fish are not at all bothered by being in an aquarium instead of the open ocean. Like, I personally would love to be a little clown fish in one of those big reef tanks. Fed regularly. Whole team of people monitoring my health and well-being. No predators. Medicated if I show signs of illness. Aquarium fish have cushy gigs in comparison to their wild companions.

A conversation I just had with my roommate/ friend

Friend : hey my dad's here I'm going home for the weekend you wanna come with?

Me: no I think I'll just stay here and die

Friend : DONT DIE

Me : no I meant die as a good thing

If this had happened in the show I would not have been surprised

So me and my sister had a discussion about the different doctors and their rage at like 2am one night cuz we were bored and she was saying how she found it so weird that they go from Peter Capaldi who she considers the angriest doctor to Jodie Whittaker who has like barely any rage and discussing that all the doctors had rage cuz of what happened with gallifrey and stuff

At the time I had taken a break from doctor who to one of my other obsessions (cuz I have many ) and was prolly sleep deprived so I said something along the lines of maybe it was a testosterone problem all along

And then we spent the rest of the night cackling about that
