SPOILER IF YOU LIVE UNDER A ROCK IG
Everyone talks about how cool gojo seems when he says that "my students are watching I'm still gonna look cool". But like, look at yuta.

Look at his face. This dude always looks like he's in The Office and knows the camera is gonna pan to his face. Bro gets so anxious that he can't even look at the camera and is always sweat dropping with the most awkward expression possible.

You know, sometimes it's fine to let the characters be happy. It's fine to have a stressed and tired man have his dream vacation. It's fine to have a young girl finally meet her long lost friend that she always admired. It's fine to let a girl with a kind heart live with her little brother and not make her body a puppet to fight him. It's fine to let a young boy have his father back and not have him kill the only family he had left. It's fine to let a man with the burden of the title of the strongest be able to save the people he cares about. It's fine to let a man be the big brother he always wanted to be and live with the little brother he always wanted to have and not let him die without knowing what it is like to live. It's fine to let an innocent boy remain innocent and not have him lose everything he held close to his heart again and again. Sometimes, it's fine to not destroy the happiness of characters just in the name of character and plot development.
I really feel bad for Zai. Poor dude hated and did not trust people, got recruited in a fucking ninja group, found two people who told him they'd be friends for life, his only friends literally fucked around and fucked off, leaving him behind, tried to stop them but they did not listen, AND THEN GOT FUCKING TORTURED FOR LETTING THEM GO. I mean, I understand Higan and Mari's reason for leaving, but dude, they found their reason for living in each other but took with them Zai's only hope in that shithole. Now that's just cruel.
SPOILERS FOR THE WORST FUCKING SHIT EVER PULLED IN THE HISTORY OF PULLING BAD SHITS
At this point, let Megumi die too. Let Gojo's body be so destroyed that it cannot be used anymore. Let Megumi's brain be so utterly wrecked that he would not survive even if they separate Sukuna from him. Let Megumi's body too become the tool to kill sukuna. Because while death became a curse to Gojo's whole being, it will be salvation for Megumi. Because can you imagine Megumi, sweet, young Megumi, who loves with all his heart but seldom shows it, will be able to live with the knowledge that HIS hands were the culprits that killed all the people that not only he but his friends cared about too? Would he be able to look at yuji in the eyes after what happened to choso? Would he be able to look HIMSELF in the eyes after what happened with his little family? Sometimes, nothing is more merciful than death itself. Maybe, in the afterlife, he would live with his family, he would give his dad (Gojo, not the child service evader) the tightest hug and would be truly happy. Maybe death will treat him more kindly than life ever did. Maybe Gojo will get the chance to be himself and not the strongest. Maybe, all of them- Satoru, Megumi, Suguru, Tsumiki, Choso and the many others who died an unfair death- would be able to live a fair life in death. Maybe, Satoru's infinity would finally be able to protect him and the people he cherishes from the malignity and the cruelty of the world. Maybe, Gojo Satoru would be just Gojo Satoru and not the Strongest. Maybe, Fushiguro Megumi would be just Fushiguro Megumi and not the One with the Potential to match the Strongest. Maybe, they would be treated as humans and not just tools. Maybe, they would feel the happiness they deserved so, so much.
Well this did not age well
SPOILER FOR JJK MANGA!!!
Okay hear me out, I truly want Gojo to be alive. If my url doesn't make it obvious, then let me say it- I am a die hard Gojo fan (not one of the deranged ones, you know which ones I'm talking about), and I'm all for Gojo being alive and kicking. But if Gojo returns for a round 2 with Sukuna, it will RUIN the progress Yuji has made. Gojo's return to the fight can only yield two results- either he'll win, or he'll lose. In the first case, the purpose of Yuji's character as the mc would be utterly destroyed, and the second one will prove to be a disgrace to Gojo's character. Both the cases are, all in all, a lose-lose situation. The thing is, I wish that Gojo had never lost the way he did. I wish he hadn't died the way he did. But that's the thing. He lost, and that's that. I wish that he hadn't lost when he did, but bringing him back now will most probably be a bad move. I hope he'll be alive by the end of the story and all of that, but don't disregard the things all the characters, including gojo and especially yuji, have been through. Even if Gojo doesn't return, he will still be the strongest to me, and I won't be able to see his character be dragged through the mud again just because of a poor move by the mangaka.
In the end, he was just Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of the modern era and never Satoru, a child who always had to look out for assassins, a teenager who ran himself into the ground to protect another teenager for it all to be in vain, a teenager who could not do anything but watch as all his friends walked away from him, a teenager who took in a child whose father had literally killed him and his friends, physically or emotionally or both, an adult who had to kill his one and only best friend, a teacher who would put his own life on the line for his students, a father who had to fight his own son. Apparently, being the strongest isn't enough to be seen as a person who deserves a proper rest.
