It’s my birthday, I’m now 16. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry

I see Apollo in the way the sunlight shines through my window. I see Apollo in that feeling of uncontainable euphoria when I find a song that I really like. I see Apollo in the feeling of relief I get when an illness starts to get better. I see Apollo in the hours I spend practising and listening to music. I see Apollo when I notice something that looks cool and take a photograph of it. I see Apollo all around me.

I’ve chosen multiple names before the one I use now, but my Mom bullied me out of them. My name now, though, is Felix. It means happy/lucky, and I chose it because there’s a trans mlm character in a series I enjoy who’s also called Felix, and just in general there’s a lot of Felixes that I look up to, so I’m not going to let anyone tell me I’m not allowed to have this.
