and slimecicle is everything quackity had done up to this point balled up

all of his lessons and desperation and hypocrisy put into one

he never forgot, he never doubted his memories, but quackity taught him to lie and cheat to the top and god damn did slime use it

but hes so much more self aware than quackity is, so much more stable in his identity, and seeing purpled try and pull the strings on him made him realise that to q and purp hes just a pawn

so he lied to the top, smiled and pushed on. people took him as dumb and empty but as he learned and learned from a first person perspective, he realised that...

to take it all down, he needed to follow qs lessons, get close. he did trust and love q, truly, and he still does, but revenge is revenge

and this is revenge for ruining his life.

Okay but real talk Charlie is SO GOOD at taking jokes and punching you in the gut with them

The running gag about how many bones he has, all of which are definitely his, and hitting us with “I don’t actually have 300 bones...” as a sign of a genuine attempt at trust

The bit about him totally being a real human and not a slime coming back around to his final words being “thank you for showing me what it was like to be human, maybe i almost was”

Charlie is so good at playing silly characters that are there to break tension only to twist them like a fucking knife in the end
