i have so many ideas for drawings where he's intimidating but i start drawing and i make him look so adorable. help

@tumblingghosts hehe, you did lay everything out so well, so I can't really add much, but yes, this really is a moral dilemma on another level and it is so interesting to think about the outcomes of the potential decisions.

Somehow I think Eurylochus might MAYBE actually have considered letting Odysseus go of he had the choice.

Because at the end of mutiny he seems completely numb and is so so tired and I feel like in Thunder Bringer, his "But we'll die" really has no reproachful or desperate undertone (at least I interpreted it that way) and because Jorge thinks about every detail, there must have been a reason for the line to be spoken the way it is.

He really has no more hope left that they will get there, because even if they, through some miracle, survived Zeus, who's to say that the next danger that will claim their lives isn't just a few miles ahead? I am not the best at expressing thoughts but there are posts describing this very well haha 🥹

What if instead of presenting Odysseus with the choice to sacrifice the crew or himself, Zeus presented Eurylochus with the decision instead since he was the one who killed the cattle?

I think if it was a matter of him or the crew he'd easily sacrifice himself since he is kind of the voice of the crew and all but but but, what if he had to choose between Odysseus or the crew. (I could see Zeus doing it because he's a spiteful ass and his brother wants him to kill that one guy anyway)

If he had to look his friend into the eyes who was the sole reason him and the crew made it that far while Eurylochus is the reason almost all but 43 of the crew died, could he do it? Could Eurylochus make such a sacrifice to keep the rest of them safe? (I mean he kinda did in mutiny but they still kept him around) Would he be able to sacrifice Odysseus to right his own mistake?

And now the question of all questions, would Odysseus try to talk his way out of it and try to get Eurylochus to let him live. Does he love his wife enough to talk his best friend and crew into sacrificing themselves for him because for once he isn't the one who gets to make decisions?
