Shoutout to Eurylochus and Ctimene for being the characters that won my heart without Ctimene even existing in the musical.

Also shoutout to Ody 'Matchmaker' of Ithaca for being the first person in history to ship Eurymene (shhh, it's canon in my heart).

ok so this au started in the epic server when i made this drawing just for fun cuz i know athena poped out of Zeus head full grown

and then his person said this

so like- its an au where Zeus laid an egg of athena and it fell down from Olympus and ody found and started taking care of her this is so random but makes sense i swear

Small (tiny) Rant about them down below

Not sure how her character is in the books but I hc Ctimene is somewhat like her brother, sly and mischievous and a fan of mind games. Which is perfect for me ‘cause I’m a huge sucker for “opposite attracts” pairings and imagining Eurylochus just being saddled with a mini woman version of his captain is funny as hell. I imagine he’s constantly exasperated by her wiles but still finds her endearing and likes the way she keeps him on his toes.

On the other hand Ctimene would find Eury’s stoic nature amusing and would try to find ways to break it. She likes seeing him get flustered and thinks it’s adorable. She was heartbroken when she found out he wasn’t coming back but I think she prepared herself for the possibility that he wouldn’t after five years had passed since the war ended.

They had planned to have kids together when he came back and she had already come up with names. Eurylochus had come up with his own names and wanted to tell her after the journey but never got the chance to.

I love reading reblog tags. Also Odysseus sketches. First is just him in more modern clothes. Also mostly I post greek and Odyssey stuff of my own story but here I listened to remember them
