The response I’ve gotten from sharing screenshots of my mermaids has been crazy and I didn’t expect the amount of comments/questions I’ve gotten haha. Thank you all so much for the comments, I do appreciate it a lot!

Please find below a masterlist of all the CC I’ve used in my game to create my mermaids as well as some CC I haven’t used yet but is in my game. 

I won’t be answering any WCIFs that ask about mermaid stuff because it should all be listed here. If I miss something then fair enough and if it’s a WCIF that’s on a mermaid but not specifically mermaid CC (like hair, for example) I will do a separate WCIF post for that.

Also, please see my notes at the bottom of the post for some additional information about getting some CC to work on mermaids.

“Why is it that the world is filled with drama?”

“Every one of us is so different…”

“Yet, we’re all the same.”

After many months of working on this, it’s finally done! I’ve been inspired to do this by seeing others save files (Lilsimsie, Plumbella). The vibe I went for with this with drama. Me personally, I enjoy storytelling whether it’s through let’s plays, machinimas. With having the many characters and stories, there’s always the option to expand or change each sim’s fate.

With the lots, I decided to have at least one-two starters per world (Willow Creek has the most starters) that are ready to move into. Not every lot is filled with a household, but most of them are (though all the Newcrest lots are filled).

NOTE: This is the first version of this save file. Please let me know if there’s anything wrong so then I can try to fix it.

Some of the lots I didn’t touch (Ancient Ruins, Von Haunt Estate, Lighthouse) because I felt they would fine as is. Others I only renovated and some of original Townie houses. The rest are completely built by me.

There’s no CC, however I used lots of packs for this. If you don’t have all of the packs, just replace/change whatever is missing.

Don’t forget to turn lifespan back on! I had it disabled while working on this so then no one would age up.

I know townie life must be hard. But come on, these outfits maxis generates make me wanna cry and scoop my eyeballs out.

So basically what this does is prevent maxis from using certain accesories/clothing that are awful on basically every townie.

This doesn’t delete these items obviously, you will still find them in CAS. But the townies generated after installing it won’t wear any of these items. Remember this only affects newly spawned townies, not already existing ones.

There are four!!! packages: two for accesories (bg and city living) (including fedora hats, space helmets, tall hats, some glasses, and more) one for basegame clothing (certain items that are uhhh and townies wear all the time) and one for city living clothing (same as basegame, mostly weird dresses and stuff).
