In the photograph were four engines, with four familiar faces. They all looked remarkably similar, and each had a brand new, shining brass nameplate affixed to their smokebox.

One of the engines was none other than Gordon himself, grinning broadly with a smile so rare that it likely had never graced his face with its presence since the day the photo was taken.

A faded promise could still be made out, written on the bottom corner of the photograph, along with the names of those who had intended to keep it some day, long ago.

hey friendos! so, to address some stuff going down on a post floating round here!

I've been made aware i misgendered someone! That misgendering incident was a mistake on my part, an accident based on assumptions from a server I shared with the person i misgendered- I always strive to be and do better, and NEVER want to make someone uncomfortable in this respect! For that I absolutely apologize, and anytime i DO misgender someone, please let me know politely.

MY pronouns are she/he! - man/dude/bro/guy/girl/chick are ALL perfectly fine too, but not ‘woman’ please. It is personally very uncomfortable for me.

I have always and will ALWAYS be A NO MINORS BLOG. I block if I catch minors, but if someone has found someone slipping in, please send me a polite message with proof ❤️ I always appreciate the help cuz I’m not always online!

I have been using unique tags for my stuff and avoided the general ThomasTheTankEngine tag on OC and out of canon or super fluffy stuff just to be safe, but from now on, all my stuff will ALSO be tagged #THOMASALLGROWNUP and if it's something kinda sillier or FLUFFIER it's going under a cut! that's a good compromise i think!

i hope this helps clear up any questions! Thomas as a fandom is a big space and plenty of people are allowed to contribute to it and enjoy! i never wanna make people uncomfy, that's just not my style! So!
