it’s the two boys and two cpus. everything starts off fine. the boys are rolling the dice, moving to their spots, and getting coins. then comes the first mini game. it’s every man for himself, and the boys take that to heart. they yell at each other and even the cpus. andre almost whacks the controller out of cal’s hands and cal has his face basically right next to the tv. later, cal steals andre’s stars and andre gives cal the cursed dice.

needless to say, the night ends with the boys getting multiple reminders to stay quiet from cal’s parents. andre even sleeps on a makeshift bed on the floor instead of next to cal. they take mario party a bit too serious.

watching ZD 4 The first time literally made my stomach hurt...

i’m sorry anon :((( that’s understandable. it’s a sharp transition from the rest of the movie where the boys are just joking around to the security footage where we see the impact they have on other people while others are screaming and begging. it’s very off putting, especially when considering what’s going on in the world today

modern day caldre getting facial piercings.

cal would get his nose pierced, just a small stud on one of his nostrils. he’d act all confident, but the moment the needle nears his face, he’s gripping onto andre’s arm like he’s about to die. when he looks in the mirror after it’s over, there are tears in his eyes even though he’s never been happier. he tells andre how cool he looks and makes sure andre agrees. his parents are going to dislike it; cal couldn’t care less.

andre would get his eyebrow pierced. he’d have to tell cal a million times that yes he wants it pierced and he’s not just doing it because cal said it would look good. he sits down in the chair and goes completely silent. his hands are clenched into fists and his legs are bouncing. once the piercing’s done, he looks in the mirror and smiles wide. he looks awesome. he knows his tough guy facade has went up a notch, and he could never be happier.

cal and his siblings making a cake for their parents as a celebration of their wedding anniversary. they’d walk to the grocery store that’s a couple blocks away. cal would end up having to carry his little brother on his back because his legs got sore. they’d all pick out a couple ingredients, some to bake the cake but mostly ones to decorate with.

once they get home, they throw together all of the ingredients. the younger two crack the eggs and get to mix everything while cal measures and wipes down messes. when they put it in the oven, the three of them sit in front of the machine, watching every second to make sure the dessert is absolutely perfect.

cal gets the cake out of the oven. it’s slightly burnt, but the trio all agree that they can cover the fried pieces with icing. the moment it’s on the table, they get to decorating, ignoring that it’s too hot and that everything keeps sliding off.

cal is in charge of writing on the cake which he keeps messing up. the amount of smeared off letters is almost embarrassing. his little sister is in charge of sprinkles and sparkles which isn’t the best decision but no one else wanted to get sparkles all over their hands. his little brother is in charge of candy. he’s methodically placing gummy worms and bears around the cake, making sure that he places three little bears in a line in front of everything. he says that it represents them and it’ll make their parents happy.

in the end, the cake looks like absolute trash. it’s a pile of melted off icing with sparkles and candy everywhere. cal’s writing has smudged off, making his already horrendous handwriting even worse. the only thing that’s in place are the three gummy bears. their parents love it. they love their three kids no matter what they do.
