i was thinking about periods and how unfair it is and how i wish there was an option to not have them and how much more productive i would be without them and,
what if we had 3 options regarding our periods to choose from once we turned 18? or 21?
1. if you want kids, continue to have your periods every month like normal (or if your periods aren't painful and heavy and you don't mind it)
2. if you don't want kids, stop your period once and for all
3. if you want kids but don't want a period, freeze your eggs and stop your period until you want a kid, then you'll have periods for a week every month like normal and then have a kid
ik there's probably a lot of science and factors and all behind why we have periods and it's not just for having kids but i was just thinking.. if we could control our periods like a netflix subscription lol, life would be so much better
OR we could stop/delay our period incase of a function/party/trip. ik these make no sense but a lot of things in the world make no sense, so it would be great if we could have that option lol
lifes been so good lately, and then i get pms today, bchd mujhe jeene de

late nights spent in the studios working on assignments while sipping on coffee you somehow found on campus at this ungodly hour, the sound of your pen scribbling in your notepad for any ideas or thoughts you have while researching, glasses falling off your nose and pieces of hair sticking out as you bury yourself in the book you found at the library to help you with your work, pages flipping, fingers typing, you're way too invested in this, the burn and desire for that perfect grade/remark from your teacher- but wait. there's no perfect in your field of work. it's always "this needs to be added" "this could be better" "this is good but what about x aspect?" you're always working. always making it better. because what if that one extra night of working gives you the validation you so badly crave?
hehe just one of the scenarios i daydream about but never do π
the urge to be an all rounder and overachiever in college is insane
