Think of Gwen Bouchard and how when the Magnus institue burnt down, Jonah had taken Elias already. I don’t quite know how they are related (brother, cousin, dad maybe??) but imagine your family member who is usually high as a kite and is the most ridiculous man you’ve ever met suddenly changes into this strange man who knows to much and has wrong eyes.
