What are the three essential thing(or element)about photography making in your opinion ? how to make progress?

Personally, some of the essential elements would be composition, and use of lines in an image. Having the right composition is a must.  It makes your viewer go through a visual experience, creating meaning through your image and then guiding them through that meaning. Like I stated having lines in your image is another part of creating an image, seeing lines in a building / landscape or even a model shoot. It creates a leading line effect, the leading line effect makes it appealing towards the viewer, it guides the viewer around the image following the lines that are seen in the image, just as the composition does the leading lines further guides the viewer deeper into the image.

Furthermore, the use of texture in an image is needed to add depth to your image, having texture in your image creates a new layer to the foundation of what you have captured. It makes your image more visually interesting. And lastly the element of the presentation. The presentation of your work is another one that people need to think about, if you’re posting your images on social media, example here. Think about a clean layout nothing much, plan and simple are the best.

How to progress in the field of photography I would just go out there and capture what catches your eye. Try also to experiment with film photography, that in itself is huge, with so many creative possibilities. The internet has hundreds of informational advice on taking your photography further, creating a meaning to it. Online videos are a great resource for starting out / advancing. Recently VSCO academy has released a few online videos which guide you through photography with some cool videos. Another person that is very informative yet creative is a channel called Negative feedback. Who talks about film photography, and all the cool stuff with it.

In conclusion, what to take away is to just keep practicing (it’s cliché but true), keep on doing what you’re doing by taking images and learning what (if any mistakes) you did and learn how to further stop that from happening in the future. From that you will process, enormously.

Just wanted to say thanks for the question, very thought-provoking. Please keep them coming!
