I keep seeing people talk about how hard Joel was trying to cheer Ellie up, and you're right, but can we also talk about how hard Ellie was trying to be her old self for him. How she was desperately trying to make herself sound happy, apologizing for being quiet, trying to smile for him even when she probably didn't think she could.

They were both just trying so hard for each other.

I’ll be real with you guys, I’ve been having trouble writing recently, and just some cool quick stories will help me tons! Please send some TLOU fic suggestions and I’ll write a bit for some of them!!

Someone sent me a request for a modern AU foster fic, so I started on that a couple days ago. It’s called ‘Frightening Fishes’, based on the ‘Shrinking’ theme song. It’s pretty angsty, believe it or not…
