Amber Heard has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and Histrionic Personality Disorder, confirmed in court by her psychiatrist today.

That does not mean all people with BPD, HPD or any other form of personality disorders or mental illnesses are abusive! Nor does it mean they deserve disrespect or abuse because of it!

Please please don't use this case to spread sexism or hate against anyone with mental illnesses or personality disorders.

Also, in general, I wish people would be more mindful about using those terms as insults, when these are actual disorders that need to be professionally diagnosed

And lastly, although it should not need to be said, mental illnesses or personality disorders are of course no excuse for abuse.

The woman recorded him while he was threatening suicide? That’s fucked up. Hearing that whole recording session literally just made me fucking cry. And if anyone still stands with her after that you’re a piece of shit just as much as she is.

That is a vulnerable moment that should have never been broadcasted or listened to by anyone. And I applaud Johnny for sitting there having to relive that without knowing he was being recorded. That’s very brave.
