Everyone sees it…Dean is an open book and his anger issues are nothing new. Cass is just the latest one to be on the receiving end of it. I think Dean is afraid that Chuck has made everything up…even Dean’s feelings for a certain angel. Cass walking away was needed to shake Dean out of thinking Cass would always be around. I see a wonderful reconciliation happening soon.

Prompt for someone to use: (I blame @jenspinner​ and her cmas song post)  Dean couldn’t remember how he got roped into taking his nephew, Jack, to get a picture with the mall Santa. Sam and Eileen were off Cmas shopping…or so they said. They were probably still home doing things Dean didn’t want to imagine.

After another five minutes of waiting, it was finally their turn. Nine-year-old Jack sat next to Santa and smiled up with the knowledge it wasn’t the real Santa. “Hiyah, my name is Jack. And this is my Uncle Dean.”

The bluest eyes Dean had ever seen lifted and caught onto his green. Instant sparks! Instant boner! Shit! Dean felt like a perv standing there surrounded by waiting families as xxx thoughts went through his head.

A red-haired elf with Charlie printed on a name tag suddenly tapped on his arm. “Excuse me, sir. Unless you plan to be in the photo, could you please move out of the shot.”

“YES! Uncle Dean, you should sit on Santa’s lap!” Jack was almost bouncing up and down at the idea. 

“No, I don’t think your parents are going to want me in the picture, Jack.”

“You could get two pictures…one with you and me, and one with just me. I will smile if you say yes. Otherwise, I’m going to frown, and Mom will scold you for not getting a good picture.”

Seeing the grumbling line of people waiting for their pictures, Dean realized he had no choice. “Move over, Jack. I’ll sit next to you.”

“Nuh-uh, Uncle Dean. You have to sit on Santa’s lap or deals off.”

Dean stared at his stubborn, devious nephew. The little devil had him, and Jack knew it! “Fine. But after this, we’re going to my choice of food place instead of yours.”

Jack just smirked, knowing Dean would cave on that too.

Dean felt so weird as he moved to sit on Santa’s lap. “I hope I’m not too heavy.”

The deepest, gravely voice Dean had ever heard said, “You feel perfect to me.”

Hell! It should be illegal for a Santa to have that voice. Dean squirmed as he stared into those blue eyes.

“Okay, guys, smile for the camera.” Charlie’s bubbly voice broke the moment, and Dean turned to do his best smile.

CLICK!

As Dean got off Santa’s lap so Jack’s solo picture could be taken, he felt something being slipped into his back pocket. He turned to glance questioningly at Santa.

Those blue eyes just twinkled, “That was my business card. I do private parties as well.”

Suddenly, imagines of riding Mr. Blue-eyes while the guy still wore that Santa suit played in technicolor in Dean’s mind.

The boys play with a hip bone (Season 13 Ep 6 Tombstone) …and it made me think of Misha’s surgery. As @elliemuze mentioned they only had to replace the ball and socket part…but was still amazing TNT happened to play this episode today. Glad we have the ability to replace body parts. But oh! Poor Misha. Hope he recovers safely and with as little pain as possible.
