Chad's Supporters (and How They Became Invested In His Best Friend Whereabouts)
Chad's supporters (and how they became invested in his best friend whereabouts)
I'm still laughing myself sick thinking that Chad ended up the most famous of the group.
Seriously, the guy is an international celebrity (with a face that reminds me of Kyourakou but that's beside the point).
He's strong, he's famous. There must be a fanclub and paparazzi on his back.
(Let's be real, Karakura city would be insufferable about his career and put photos and interviews of him everywhere).
So imagine some groupies or paparazzis trying to get more information about this quiet guy. He doesn't talk much and is super discreet despite his massive body.
So they search info on his younger years and they find Karakura. Extatic, they keep digging information. And then they find something new and weird : he was a (sort of) delinquent, alongside a ginger and violent boy, that kicked yakuzas and deliquents asses regularly.
Some even dig up videos of some fights (with a quality so horrible it makes eyes cry).
When they bring it up to the champion, he simply hums and smiles. So the researchers are out on a mission : they have to find the ginger dude.
(Is he an athlete too ? Or did he end up with yakuzas ?)
What they find is a little disapointing : the ginger boy that made full grown yakuzas look over their shoulder and tremble in fear is an average man working on translations.
Well, they learn really quickly that he's not so average after all.
Upon closer inspection, he still has brighly coloured hair and a nice complexion (tanned skin and a slim figure).
After a few weeks of stalking, they also see him kick a group of yakuza's asses without breaking a sweat.
The interest grows with each new information.
(Ichigo feels a few eyes following him regularly but he can't pinpoint from where it goes. It unnerves him but it doesn't seem to have bad consequences so he suck it up).
((Chad is deeply amused when he finds out his fanclub curiosity for his friend. As a good celebrity, he doesn't hesitates to deliver when an opportunity arises.)
One day (between two competitions), he finds himself back in Karakura and chooses to go visit his friends. He stops by the Karakura clinic, where Orihime greets him with a smile and her bubbliness. Ichigo is on a tight schedule because of his deadlines so Chad accompagnies Orihime to get Kazui back from school. By the time diner is ready, Ichigo greets them with a tired but winning smile.
The next morning, he and Chad go to Tatsuki's dojo to talk and play fight. Chad knows that some of his fans are in the crowd, or trying to hide behind bushes while searching for the best way to get a look at him (and at Ichigo who is getting extremely popular amongs them).
Scheming, he offers to fight with and oblivious Ichigo who accepts.
They warm up and get on the ring, they smile at each other while they get in position. And then Tatsuki ring the beginning of the fight.
Let it be said that it was at that moment that the hidden groupies adopted Ichigo as a permanent fixture in their obsession. (the whole fight was filmed and is still showed on multiple occasions)
They fought hard and fast for a very long time. Ichigo, for his lean boddy and more petite frame, held his own against a medalled champion and even gave a good fight. They didn't hold back and punched with everything they had. Chad still won in the end and heleped a sweating and laughing Ichigo off the floor ("man, I'm so out of practice!"). Chad hummed and patted him with a smile.
He leaves a few days later to get back on his training, Ichigo none the wiser of his scheming. (His sisters are not, they see photos and videos of their brother blossom on the internet, along side Chad's. They see the fandom's mindblow after the fight's video. Like good sisters, they keep their mouth shut in front of Ichigo, but find the situation hilarious).
Ichigo, the hot translator, ends up with a solid fanbase without even trying (and is the last one to find out). Chad is still smug about it, years later.

Zelda's tears, Link's suffering
How frustrating will it be for Zelda and Link when they will learn that the sacrifices made during BOTW Where for naught.
The useless praying
The guardians
The divine creatures
The soldiers death
The champion's and the king's death
Link's death (and 100 years nap)
Zelda's 100 years of arm-wrestling with Ganon (and lost of her divine powers)
All of this to hold back and beat a sliver of the real deal.
That what was depicted in the ancient mural was not what happened. (It was so much worse)
Their role isn't finished, they don't get to have their happily either after yet.
They will have to fight and to suffer and to sacrifice and to struggle in order to get stronger and to win (to finally rebuilt the kingdom and live in peace).
They will probably hope that the price to pay won't be too high (Not like last time).
Frieren ep 10
The fights truly are epic. The flute in the background gives so much celtic vibes.
I like Sein, he's funny (but not as much as Stark the victim)
------------
I wonder if Fern and Stark kept the clothes. Now that they underwent noble training, they can do the haughty act and sneer while drinking tea.
Will it be useful in the future ?
In any case, the ship is sailing aand I love that.
Frieren wasn't keen on playing noble so maybe she doesn't give a fuck because the etiquette is always changing and she can't care enough to keep up to date.
What if (ATLAB)
I love Zuko (who doesn't really ?) and I find him hilarious, even at the beginning.
He's such a dumbass.
So much that it would have been funny to see s1 Zuko being a reluctant and unplanned firebender teacher to Aang.
Aang would try to firebend during one fight against him and Zuko would be like 'what ? What's that? You call that firebending ? With that form ? What a weak punch, I will show you firebending !' and proceed to make a perfect demonstration of the move, with easy to understand explanations, while beating the shit out of Aang for his sloppy punch.
Aang would be so confused (but happy too) to have free lessons from his ennemy.
Katara would be murderous and ready to fight but she would keep her mouth shut because at least Aang was learning.
Sooka would be chill about it, especially with the old man tea. He's good company while Aang gets his ass handed to him by an angry and shouty teen. Iroh cryptic comments were sometimes useful too.
Iroh would be on his 'let's socialise my feral nephew' plan. To his surprise, it was kind of working.
And Zuko would end up too invested in the Avatar progress without realising it. He would have mock fights, lessons plans and progression notes ready for the next time he found the Avatar. He would shout about his abysmal form during fights without thinking and not make the combat too difficult from the start to see the progress.
He would be a perfect teacher if he wasn't trying to catch the Avatar.
And then his sister would appear and everything would go to shit.
I love the fact that Link is such a gremlin.
So much that he ends up being an important figure of the Yiga clan, knowing their secret techniques and everything.
I see him travelling, disguising himself as a Yiga and going to chat with them, even after the end of Ganondorf. He would be that supportive figure in the clan, not always there but listening to their struggles.
He would keep the charade up, much to Zelda's annoyance. (After all this time, he's gotten attached to them and their weekly assassination attempts).
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
And then, one day, the chain gets on this new Hyrule. It's vast, wild and destroyed but the people are welcoming and warm.
The groups gets into a stabble that have a bar. And while waiting for their drinks, they hear this group chatting (loudly complaining) about the hero.
After closer inspection, they hear them talking about killing the hero and how hard and difficult it is. They're whinning and crying in their drinks, recounting their attempts to another guy who seems sympathetic and give them advice between rounds of drinking.
It's a deeply uncomfortable conversation to witness for the heroes. Even more so because the guy gives good advice.
They see the conversation unfold with growing horror, until the assassins finish their drinks and leave the place, sure that they will get the hero next time.
The (very well informed) advisor remains and the chain is half tempted to go talk to him about the hero.
But before they can make up their mind, a charismatic woman enters.
She's blonde, with emerald eyes that blaze with fire, and brimming with exasperation as she approach the advisor at a brisk pace. He's unbothered, waving a hand and offering her a dumb grin as she gets near "Hey Zel'-"
"Don't 'Hey Zel' me you idiot. What were you thinking?!"
"I-"
"You have to stop encouraging those Yigas. They want to kill you !"
"Nah, they want to kill the hero. They like me, they look up to me for advice and everything. And they're nice drinking buddies."
"Link, the only reason they drink with you is because they haven't realised you're the hero they're trying to kill. One day, your luck will run out and you will get killed."
"But Zel, how can I leave them so sad and depressed ?"
The chain is dumbstruck.
That's their hero ? That guy that was giving assassination advice ?? For himself ???
They look as the Zelda and Link bicker like an old married couple while they ask themselves what kind of madman Hylia sent them.
(It turns out that that Wild is a wild, trigger-happy, bored gremlin that will launch itself at chaos.)
(The yigas are just entertainment. He's part of their clan and one of their best member)
Zelda is not amused
Linked Universe Update
Twi is dying (and beautifully tired) but still alive (he has recovered his modesty with a shirt)
Legend : sooo... How're you doing ?
Twilight : not so good. I feel myself dying, I am... depressive (so much angst).
Time looks so sad and stressed and Warriors is just waiting for his friend inevitable death (look at his face, look at his resignation)
We got softy Legend crying, which is at the opposite of some characterization in some fanfics (I love big softy and broken Legend just as much as I love mean and badass Legend)
And I spot the Four moment in the next post because that look he gave Wild in the last panel must have some meaning !
