Why does 4 have the four sword in the misplaced heroes au. I think the whole point of the hero of the four sword was that they had the four sword. So I feel like Four still having the four sword in the au doesn't really change anything? And it'd be fun to see the four sword represented by someone else and having *them* have the 4 personalities since that mainly is the whole point of that game and lore. I dont wanna seem like I'm hating it just confuses me. Since Time can't go back in time and stuff since he doesn't have the ocarina. And Twi can't be animal. So why does Four have the four sword?
I could see why you're confused and i'll happily explain :> first off is why did four pull the four sword in the first place in the original game? Well He pulled it because shadow link tricked him into releasing vaati ( and four did know that the sword was a seal when he pulled it.) Thus the start of his adventure as four people.
I made warriors take fours spot as the hero of that time, and before four swords was the minish cap too.
Here's the thing, that's what 'four did in that situation. He fell for the trick. Since Warriors is now the hero I thought about what he would do in fours situation. I think he wouldn't fall for the trick and he would instead think more logically about it. You gotta remember that warriors is a "captain" and he still has that trait, he can think under pressure.
Since he never pulled the four sword it stayed in its pedestal and Warriors went to find the sword of legend aka the master sword. That does mean that his second adventure is vastly different but in the end the dark mirror does end up breaking and he defeats ganon. I dont think it's really necessary to explain his second adventure in detail right now.
Moving onto how four (the hero of legend) got the four sword. The GPA, A Link To The Past also includes the palace of the four sword located in the dark world. there you'll find four dark links to fight. But since the sword has never split anyone before, there wouldn't be any Darks to fight thus the palace is still protected in light world magic (cause of the seal.)
Fours also smaller then the master sword, so he wouldn't even be able to carry it, and his second best option would be the four sword. Since the dark mirror is long gone at this point vaati wouldn't be very powerful. So he should be easy to deal with.
Pretty much the whole point of four still having the four sword is for angst and he can't carry the master sword. It also makes warriors character more unique since he's now just the hero of the minish.
It Would be interesting to see warriors get split but to me it feels to similar to four. I don't want them to be to similar and I thought this would be interesting for their characters.

Warriors: since the sailor is asleep and the old man is patrolling, why don't we talk about the ladies that have caught your guys eyes recently, you know, to pass the time.
Twilight: is that really necessary
Warriors: lighten up rancher, I'm sure some of the others are also curious. Sky is their anyone you've been into lately?
Sky: oh well, I do have a girlfriend...
four: wait, really?
Sky: Its actually Zelda, she's the light of my world and I love her so much.
Twilight: thats really sweet sky
Sky: yeah she is, how about you cook? Anyone that you like?
Wild: oh, well... no
Wild: what about the veteran, their must be someone who has been able to make him go soft
Legend: no.
Warriors: stop being so grumpy all the time, anyways What about you smithy? Are you with zelda?
Four: uh no, not Zelda.
Warriors: so there is a lady
Four: not recently but there was someone...
Wild: what was she like? If you don't mind talking about it
Four: hmm, they were quite smart surprisingly. They were adorable and I hold dear all those treasured moments. We were two sides of a coin. Never meant to be but I guess they thought I was worth all the trouble. I mean, they spent a whole day setting up a room just to be dramatic!
Sky: aw, sounds like she was lovely
Four: yeah, he was
Four: I-uh I mean...
Warriors: what else did he do?
Wild: none of us here would judge you for liking a guy smithy.
Sky: if there is someone who has a problem with it. Then they can come talk to me about it
Four: thanks, I didn't really expect anyone to stay around me if they knew, well liking the same gender isn't exactly welcomed
Legend: if it makes you feel better shorty, I actually like both.
Wild: you could do that?
Warriors: thats sweet but what about you traveler. You've been awfully quiet. You don't have a problem with it? Do You.
Hyrule: oh-uh, no. Its just. It got me thinking, I don't. I dont want a relationship or anything like that. I've never felt that way towards anyone before and just the idea... I don't find it all to appealing.
Twilight: there's a word for it.
Hyrule: ?
Twilight: Your asexual. Its when you don't have sexual feelings towards others.

Made some Linked Universe reference sheets. tried my best including important characteristics and parts of a character people may have issues drawing. These are just a few things I think of to help myself while drawing them. What's helpful for me may not be for someone else.
