Hello hello~ I'm back with a quick post about a character from my last post you all still know nothing about! How forgetful of me eh? This is Yingpei, he's the other human in the Devildom with You and Solomon according to Diavolo, he's there to balance out the strangeness of Solomon to make you feel more comfortable being a human in the Devildom, even if he is just as supernatural as Solomon

Incase you're wondering what he sounds like!

1: Something About Solomon 🤍

Sometimes you can't help but feel like he isn't human, but surely that's just your imagination... Right? I mean can you be sure that Solomon is still human? Living for centuries does things to you!!

Speaking of which how old was he again? He doesn't remember? That checks out, he's somewhere around Solomon's age apparently, they'd met when they were both still young.

Although not interested into the variety of magics that Solomon is, he's skilled in ice magic and in something called Lunar Magic, he likes creating small snow clouds and wherever he goes he seems to like creating his own like frozen wonderland

Even your room isn't safe from this! But if you dislike the snow or the cold then he won't push!

Solomon seems to act a bit weary around him and Yingpei seems to be the only one to get Solomon to quiet down if he gets too pushy

Shockingly enough he seemed to adapt to language terrifyingly quickly but it's safe to assume if he's been alive long enough to know Solomon when he was younger then he knows his way with words

Barbatos seems to take great enjoyment in knowing that Solomon becomes less of a pain with Yingpei present

2: Lucifer And The Moon 💙

There's a curious symbol on the back of his coat it looks something like this

You've asked him what it meant before but he never gave a proper answer, just saying "It's something from the past"

Lucifer knows a lot about him, even including the intricacies of the magic he uses on a day to day basis, which is odd considering him arriving with you and Solomon should have been the first time they'd met.

Aside from his peculiarities, he's a good friend and an honest person although somewhat out of touch with modern day society

He's a strange character for sure but you can trick him into working with you if you say it's what normal people do, he's been isolated to a secluded village high in the mountains of East Asia after all, he's somewhat out of touch with modern society.

Lucifer is busy with Diavolo during the day and at night he's busy outside on the balcony with Yingpei, although there is no paperwork involved, the conversations on the balcony often are anything but good judging by the tone they speak in

I say the tone they speak in because every word spoken is in a language you don't understand

Although sometimes the conversations are much... Gentler. You still can't understand them regardless but seeing Lucifer's shoulders slump for so long proves there's some strong trust between the two, especially since you were told that Yingpei is just human

Although Yingpei is somewhat cat like in nature, he's fond of Cerberus whenever Lucifer let's him see the three headed hellhound

Have you ever noticed how beautiful things are under the moonlight?

Overall, he's a nice person and a calm change from Solomon's antics, he cares about you deeply MC and will do whatever he can to help you! Sure he's a bit off kilter compared to the others but he means well, but if he's having a conversation with Lucifer late at night it's best not to get involved. You may find yourself biting off more then you can chew. Aside from that, there's a lot you still don't know about your companion, hope you get along!
