My Homestuck brainrot is well-known around here, but I don’t feel like I yell about Zelda enough. Anyway, I’ve got a HS/BoTW crossover AU I’m actually very enthused about so I’m making it everyone else’s problem.

Notes on the AU under the cut!

-Classic “the players finished the game and claim the ultimate reward but get sent to a different universe instead of earth c” scenario - in this case, the botw-verse -Dave wakes up as Link in the Shrine of Resurrection; he remembers the game but nothing about the BoTW world. he's part of a Heroic Prophecy™ again and he is decidedly not enthused -Dave still remembers some of Link’s memories at various points similar to in-game though and it’s definitely super weird for everyone involved -Link is part Sheikah in this AU mostly just for the pale hair + red eyes Dave vibes -everyone else is in various parts of the world, with varying levels of knowledge about the game. Some people fully remember the game, some people have vague impressions of it, some people have nothing at all, etc. Pretty standard for this type of AU tbh. Dave-as-Link gets to wrangle this on top of his chosen hero stuff -is this AU based mostly on the Hero of Time pun? ....maybe
