This is partly an art blog, but be prepared for occasional Bug Facts and other such randomness. Spam likes and all other positive interactions are appreciated here! sorry for showing up to liveblog ultrakill and then abandoning tumblr for five days in a row. It will happen again

GRAH. ok. iirc this is the only ultkill level I've ever NOT beat in one sitting. usually i'm too stubborn to leave until it's done (see how i spent 3 hours beating minos). like this is my third go at it. i finally p-ranked 5-2 three days ago (much to my complete and utter astonishment) and ended up dying 76 times to sisyphus (plus one to the panopticon and maybe 15-40 to the rest of the level) before restarting the entire level by accident. the day after that i died 20 times in the city + got frustrated and left i get so desensitized to the difficulty of ultrakill though p-2 was WILD. literally at first it was identical to those mods hk players make like fireborn's ''path of pain while 50 unkillable primal aspids are chasing me'' and literally anyone who's ever attempted anyrad 3.0 like there was just an overwhelming sense of WHY WOULD ANYONE EVER MAKE THIS. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL and it was the only time i ever backed down from an ultrakill challenge. and then today it's just ''oh hi room with blessed stalker + h. mass and 4 sentries how are you today'' anyway ough. i cant believe that with the exception of violent difficulty i'm so close to perfecting everything the game has to offer (yet) i do have a uk character bookmarked on art fight that i said i could only draw after beating sisypus though so :3 AND I CAN FINALLY GET THE P-2 SHIRT I CAN PUT IN MY SONA'S PERMISSIONS THAT YOU'RE ALLOWED TO DRAW THEM IN IT ok anyway peridots-nonsense

ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!!!!! peridots-reblogs art fight also it's the 9-year anniversary of expiration date. this doesn't have to do with anything i just realized on tuesday that both this and th short film share a birthday AUGH I HAD THIS SAVED AS DRAFT FROM LIKE SIX DAYS AGO AND FORGOT TO REBLOG IT AT THE RIGHT TIME. no longer exdate anniversary. sad! I didn't have internet most of yesterday anyway but I tried so hard to remember. Anyway.

minos prime ultrakill Ultrakill peridots-nonsense GRAHHH. THE CAPTION'S ACTUALLY EVEN MORE IRONIC THAN IT WAS IN THE FIRST POST!!! THIS GUY HAS TAKEN UP SO MUCH OF MY TIME i'd estimate this is my. 15th time beating this level?? and i've only beat them both without restarts one other time (big ol asterisk here) but the times I've died to him and the flesh prison (moreso him than it of course) are completely immeasurable. so this was FANTASTIC *two times if you're counting the run right before this screenshot. i was so so close and hadn't restarted and i killed him and then DIED T THE SHOCKWAVES FROM HIS 'DIE' ATTACK. turned on cheats and Railcannon Blasted him to death but nevermind that because. whaough. this very well could be my greatest gaming acheivement ever... apologies if it seems like bragging i just suffered to this level so much so i'm just like. A LITTLE proud right now. anyway farewell tag-wanderer i should probably work on a certain wip before july 1st comes :]

got something strange from my grandpa about a week ago and i KNEW it was a mantis egg case....i am a father now!!!! unfortunately IT IS THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. EVERYONE'S SLEEPING AND I AM LEFT TO DEAL WITH SO MANY LITTLE GUYS lucky i even saw them to be honest. was sitting down to charge my devices and heard a strange noise worried it was a mouse or something nope! crackling from the paper bag which i'd placed around them so that i didn't one day wake up to Mantis Hell bugs peridots-nonsense i so badly want to keep some....i don't think i'm a good caretaker of living things though generally. gonna look up what to do now hope it's safe to keep them overnight in there? writing a sticky note to break the news upon my family some hours from now :3 alright whatever. hit post. mantises
