This is partly an art blog, but be prepared for occasional Bug Facts and other such randomness. Spam likes and all other positive interactions are appreciated here! In Honor Of TF2's Sweet Sixteen And Repostober, One Pyro From Just About Six Months Ago

Three drawings of Pyro from Team Fortress 2, in a limited warm palette on a blue background. In each, they're shown in an identical pose facing slightly to the right of the screen, hands almost touching at their chest as if idle or expectant. The first, labeled "default", depicts them in their full suit and a canister on their back. The second shows them, human, in a yellow bra, red pants and their usual boots, mask covering their face and tattoos and burn scars painting their skin. The interpretation is labeled as being inspired by Friendlyengie. The third turns them into some sort of unclear "firebug", anthropomorphic with four limbs and black chitin, red and yellow accents erupting from their joints. Their only accessory is their gas mask.

peridots-art pyro tf2 tf2 bugs to this day i have still not drawn more than a doodle of any other merc. which is weird since pyro isn't even my favorite just fun to draw don't have much to say here since. y'know. made this in april. i still don't know yet if i'm ever gonna play tf2 (and besides i still have a few uninstalled games in my steam library to get to. portal outer wilds and disco elysium i'm coming for you) and i'm kind of losing the fixation on it now but i'm sure whatever i do it'll be fun :] also this came long before i saw someone interpret them as a bot. which is an a+ headcanon to me. also i think they'd be any pronouns obviously i just needed to write the id too fast to mix it up :tragic:

tenodera sinensis!!! hi!!!! i keep seeing these guys around one of my own has some sort of injury in one of their eyes which might be a contributing factor to why they've lunged at a spot a Considerable distance to the right of a roach i once tried to feed them. numerous times. over the course of like 5 unsuccessful minutes. that or they'd snap their head to look at me and slowly stalk my hands (my own woe fashioned in a similar manner to “stop being wretched”) of course they could just be Like That. mantises are silly creatures. they are like rw scavs 2 me :] peridots-reblogs bugs original-character-chaos

PREV. happy one year old russian roulette gabriel fancam friday!!! :] peridots-reblogs gabriel ultrakill Ultrakill this goes in that category of “first uk stuff ive ever seen” but in this case it's actually “one of the first seen after *playing* uk for the first time“! i first watched it like the day after my sibling and i played it in turns on their account and kept bothering my family with it. this also introduced me (+ unfortunately said sibling) to the existence of the official body pillows. my mom likes this song anyways so i'd put the number of rewatches somewhere in the dozens! and unrelated but op if you read this if your mdkv1 stuff has 100 fans im one of them if it has one fan that's me. which i'm saying particularly since i've not reblogged any yet but i DO adore it so if you ever feel like you've been posting too much of them just know i think they (and your art as a whole)'re nice :]

think I caught this pretty early for someone who hasn't had wifi in 48 hours + am Going to ramble after i get the categorization tags done gabriel ultrakill Ultrakill bugs peridots-reblogs ANYWAY. OUGH i am So very glad you enjoyed the being-tagged and so glad to be tagged!!! your own art was really the basis for an onslaught of buggified ultrakill characters so it's very cool i've somehow inspired you in turn :] i think seeing all the ways our interpretations differ is really fun! ex. i did the halo as antennae obviously cause i love the silliness of lamellate antennae but i think i've seen a mandibular halo somewhere and the stag jaws look awesome... my own elytra were kind of vaguely fitted in as the runes since i don't know what to do with the latter but i think he deserves the solid gold wingcases!! as a more final note i love the tarsi + claws + segments and especially all the pointiness!! on the pauldrons and skirt and greaves and vambraces and cuirass and even the horns! it's fun!! all in all i'd say you've done an excellent job of turning him into some sort of weird bug :]
