that post that’s like ‘people on the internet will call you a filthy member of the bourgeoisie for having throw pillows and people in real life will be like ‘hey man how’s it going’ is actually so true. I can’t stop thinking about it. our opinions become so densely concentrated in our skulls that when we post online we lose our sense of humanity. Meanwhile I bump into someone in the hallway and they say ‘sorry my bad’ and I say ‘you’re good!’. online I see someone ask for clarification on something but word it badly and get dogpiled by 15 people claiming they’re ableist. the girl at the craft store tells me she likes my t shirt and i say I love her green hair. someone more articulate than me could probably say what point im trying to make but I don’t need to say more than that
