Christmas in June!

Yesterday, a rather large package from Japan arrived, thanks to Buyee. Opening it made me feel like a kid during Christmas morning, even if I knew what was waiting inside. Mail days like this really help keep me going. Especially, with the arm pain I've been enduring and the mental stress Rodney's worsening dementia is putting me under. I do plan to have this blog be more active. It's just the issue going on with my arm, is making it rather difficult to type and sit in front of the PC for long. I've been seeing a Chiropractor 3 times a week, as what is happening with my body, is on the borderline of needing surgery. They would have to fuse two vertebrae in my neck. A disc in my neck has thinned badly, this has caused one of my vertebrae to shift and pinch a main nerve that runs down my left arm. I've been in horrific pain for a month now, some nights getting little to no sleep. Don't ask me how I have not lost my marbles by now?! One day, I was so close to just giving up. Then I opened a box of One Piece cards I received. Out of the first couple packs, I kid you not, I pulled two different cards of Buggy! Yes, a silly as it sounds, a certain pirate clown helps to keep me going.

Really glad that this wondrous package came today! It has been an unpleasant one dealing with "R." This isn't the proper time or place to talk about what unfortunately happened, as I don't want to pollute my Buggy collection posts with real-life drama. Preferably, it is time to enjoy what typically makes me happy and has been keeping me sane!

The box from Japan will be opened real soon, probably right after this is posted! *is excited* Not sure if I will get around to posting the new goodies tonight? There is some new art I naturally need to work on as well.

Buggy Kind Of A Monday, Woot!

More fun items of my favorite pirate clown arrived today. Hooray!! Gotta genuinely appreciate how everything seems to arrive all at once, LOL!!

The golden card contains real gold in it. Not enough to write home about, but it is there. I actually pulled the Charlotte Linlin version of this rare card and naturally wondered if Buggy might have one too?! My question was answered when this sexy piece of flashiness was listed for sale.

It even came with a certificate, same with the Charlotte Linlin card I have. Not sure where to display this card amongst my extensive collection?!

The seller was incredible and included several Buggy card bonuses. It always makes my day when people go the extra mile like this. Best part, I didn't have any of these yet, despite an overflowing card book.

Here are more glorious cards that were obtained by me. I'm particular about alternate art of a character I passionately love, like Buggy. There is just something unique about the art of the card on the left, which I couldn't resist. In addition, it also has a serial number.

Now this one, I legitimately thought lost to the USPS void. Imagine my joyful surprise when it was sitting in the mailbox today. Glad it showed up after all, as I have not seen this listed anywhere else.

The creative art on the magnet pictured below is one of my favorites. Especially of Buggy in a kimono, which I have a big soft spot for.

The kind seller even included this adorable sticker!

Last of today's amazing Buggy gets is this rubber charm, which was apart of the Stampede movie merch. I was truly tired of eyeing it and didn't want to miss out.

From the looks of things, I will receive one unique hand done item tomorrow. At that point there will be a dry spell. Boo!! However, I will enthusiastically receive a box from Buyee before too long.
