Hey, I had the idea for a similar but a bit darker AU a while ago. It's nice that I'm not the only one thinking of the what ifs.
(In the au where the bad kids never met on the first day and Fabian (on the bloodrush team) is totally crushing on Riz,,)
Let’s make it clear- Fabian isn’t subtle. He does the thing Damien LaVey (monster prom) does where he leaves a note for Riz to ‘deliver’ to him as an excuse to talk to him.
This backfires because Riz is 100% positive this popular pretty and rich boy doesn’t actually like him- and immediately assumes Fabian has something to do with the case he’s investigating.
