More Posts from Phoenixborn
â 11ïč sender runs their fingers through receiverâs hair.
"Now doesn't it feel nice just to relax and have someone take care of ya?"
That interesting prompt list

It wasn't often that Cindy Flame admitted she needed rest. Furthermore, the entity avoided the action or better said lack of it like one would the plague. But when she failed to feel the cosmic sparks ready to carry her out of Hell was when she realized she overstretched her previously thought nonexistent limits.
Her body still rigid, eyes carefully watching the serpentine demon's movements, fighting with the urge to lean into them.
âI don't know.â she replied at last, probably not the answer the demon wanted, light brown strands turning vibrant crimson slipping through his claws

She couldn't recall the last time she received care without the other being wanting something in return. Maybe when her mentor collected her body after training. Rough hands but couldn't hide the concern shining in his expressive chestnut eyes.
âWhat do you wantâ despite the inquiry, she remained curled like a tired cat with the knowledge she might not be able to dart out of this dimension, but her fire was still a reckoning if needed

Knowing silence with a ghost smile as he explained further how Sakuya worked; almost ironic that instead of someone so similar to her, she had fallen so deep for the almost opposite.
She was snapped out of her thoughts at his words, bright laughter ringing in the room. She could never stop traumatizing the poor man or make him second guess everything he knows, could she?
âI will get to your soul in a second, don't worry.â ...yeah it could've been phrased better- âI'm just going to look. Won't do anything.â Cindy added quickly
âBack to Miss Military, that's exactly what I'm saying. If she was Hellborn, she wouldn't have a soul but an essence. If she was a Sinner, then if she entered some kind of contract it would either leave a clean cut or simply the ghost of the soul, an echo. What she has is bordering on impossible.â

âWhat happened definitely involves the strongest of this dimension because that entity is a beast in chains. Probably that's also behind the way she fights. I wonder what could be so important to her to comply, highly doubt it's her life.â
Now to Erebus. Taking advantage of his sitting position, Cindy quite literally climbed onto him, her hands holding his jaw with surprising strength, slightly tilting upwards.
Jade disappeared in vicious orange surrounded by pitch black, the tips of her fingers significantly warmer but not scorching.

âAwww it's shy~ Barely letting me see.â the entity's chuckle was dark as searing eyes of judgment searched for his soul. Only flickers of rage made themselves occasionally known, otherwise...nothing
âLet me try a different trick.â her head snapped backwards with neckbreaking speed and coming to hover over his face again only this time with eyes filled with bright galaxies.
The atmosphere lightened at the arrival of something sacred, peering deep into his ivory eyes.
There was it.
âYour soul is vulnerable yet strong. You have killed, I can see it. Planned to, wanted to, but not out of enjoyment or sadism. For revenge of your family. Guilt for not being there for her when it happened. An artist's gentleness and brightness.â the Fire spoke with a smile, wishing she could caress the soul as well. So that's why Destruction only caught glimpses of it.
âIn the eyes of the Universe, you are innocent.â and the star eyed being sealed the verdict with a gentle kiss

phoenixbornâ:

His words didnât fail to cause an echo in her mind. If his father didnât consider neither him or Sakuya his child; then who? Although she didnât press only slotted the information away when more parts of the new puzzle would fall into place.

âIf I drank, I would take one to both of our actual father figures. He taught you well.â her tone warm yet serious, heart aching for both siblings âAnd to the fact that they probably wouldâve kicked the shit out of the biological ones.â
Cindy was only slightly surprised that Sakuya wasâŠacquainted with her.
âYour sister really likes danger, doesnât sheâ the cosmic fire chuckled lowly at the Cherry blossom demonâs taste; but hey she definitely had no room to judge
âErebus, do I look like Iâm interested in politics?â well now she was

âLet alone the politics of a pocket dimension destined to be torn apart from the inside or by the ârighteous â Heaven, not knowing or not giving a fuck by doing that, it would disrupt the balance. Which Iâm a little sensitive to.â
âAnd if heâs not an idiot, she better be.â once again deep in thought before something clicked
âHellborns and Heavenborns have no soul. As they spawn inside the pocket dimensions connected yet separated from Earth. The higher ones have some sort of essence but thatâs it. Sinners, as they call those ending up here however, have a soul. I can see yours clearly- yes I can see, tear out and consume souls, good nightmare fuel I know.â Cindy waved with a slight chuckle, she probably havenât told that part
âBut to the point. This woman, despite being a demon looks quite human, save from a few features. And I can confirm that she doesnât fall into Hellborn nor Sinner category. Parts of her soul areâŠmissing. Not a clean cut or a ghost of its vibrancy either when some sort of contract is performed, no. Like itâs been torn apart, torn into; some wounds are fresh the others older so whatever the actual fuck is going on, it has been going on for a while. And considering her pride, I doubt she willingly agreed to something like this.â

Her praise caused a hint of a smile to ghost his lips. He knew he was good, but hearing her compliment his talent never failed to make a feeling of pride blossom in his chest.
âYeah, Sakuyaâs always been chasinâ danger wherever she goes.â Had been for as long as he knew her. âSheâs never been content with a normal, simple life. Has to live on the edge.â And ultimately it was what costed her life. But did she learn lesson? Hell no.
Lips lifting into a smirk he shook. âNah, not really. But hey, could be wrong.â He teased. Still, even with he admission the fact that she did have some sort of interest in this realm despite saying otherwise made him raise a brow. But he wouldnât comment on it.
However, when she mentioned being able to see his soul immediately got his attention.

âBabe, you canât just keep dropping these like that on me with no warninââŠ.â A thoughtful pause. âUh, what does my soul look like?â Heâd be lying if he said he wasnât curious.
Still, he listened as Cindy spoke more of the notorious General. âI seeâŠâ He murmured, processing all she said. Huh. He had always assumed she was a sinner, albeit a very fucking powerful one. âSo what youâre sayinâ is she donât fit into any kind of category? And you think Lucifer got somethinâ on her to make her compliant?â

Army... Then...
âShe's the General.â Cindy whispered the conclusion mostly to herself.
The beast she had watched during fights. Who moves just like her mentor did. Who tears anyone against her apart. And she's been unaware the whole time.
âI believe you. And there are no bonds.â

Sharp and defensive while still reeling from the information. If her father's idol was such a great person, then what is she doing in Hell, licking royal's boots? Oh so glorious freedom fighter. All previous sympathy for her mangled soul vanished without a trace, wiped clean by explosive magma rage.
âThere's only one place I will meet her. In the fucking ring of the Viper club.â

Hesitation about whenever she should make that step burned to ashes as well, Cindy has fought too much for to be the best. Both as a human and in the afterlife. After her mentor's, Yuri Boyka's death she felt she was worthy continuing his legacy, his memory. That demon won't rip that away from her too.
âI've seen her fight without knowing her name. How come you aren't in a wheelchair at least?â a scoff of disbelief, why did he receive such special treatment? Of not having limbs shattered, twisted, bent until they tore, broke beyond repair?

(X) @phoenixbornâ
âI know better than to avoid asking her that question, not without breaching personal privacy⊠I can tell you and she and her army are assisting me in protecting the Princess of Hellâs hotel, and have been doing so in the previous yearly cleanses.â
Besides, Don knew that remembering death days were⊠Unpleasant, to say the most.

âI understand if you donât believe me, but if you just answer my question⊠Then⊠I can take you to her⊠Perhaps rekindle any lost bonds between you and her.â
âNowhere near my levelâ

saying with the knowledge that she can achieve a size to the point where Earth is just a little ball

Unmistakable aura of confidence and unsaid power radiated from fiery green eyes, determining the possible outcomes of crashing a âpartyâ in a rather...loud way. Shoulders squared, chin tilted high as the towering lady was making her way to her, per moment not quite trusting in the aim of the enthusiastic approach. She was probably the twice of her height, if not more but Cindy's voice wasn't the only explosive thing about her.

Ah. She wasn't expecting such praise spill from the royalty's lips. Let alone politeness after her stunt.
âThank you, Your Majesty. I hope that is the correct title.â the rocker might be a recipe for disaster in social situations, but she wasn't the one to disrespect someone not only acknowledging but reveling in a taste of her talent
âThat...wasn't much.â a tiny, almost shy smile âI'm comfortable in the 6th octave down to the 2nd.â she uncovered her borderline impossible range as if it was an everyday information
âCindy. Cindy Flame â for now she decided to leave out the numerous titles she's been called throughout millennias
âAnd the reason is that realms tend to both under and overestimate my caliber.â she gave the presumed Queen the cryptic answer; here they had no idea what she truly was. Those who did, expected an unapproachable entity demanding the most luxurious treatment; the contradiction of her statement was no lie
âI can escort myself out without company.â Cindy proposed âAlthough if the treatment is too harsh for a mere minute of interruption, there might be a different kind of show.â it was no threat, only her preference to not be dragged around and the possible reaction to it

phoenixbornâ:
@infernal-feminae

Cindy landed in Gluttony this time, as she soon figured out. Not the designated location, but she never said no to a spontaneous adventure when it presented itself. She noticed a tall lady- ah almost everyone was towering in this dimension- conversing about a party; while she didnât fancy eavesdropping the information was still better than aimless strolling. She still had $ouls, enough for a dress; sometimes she was slightly irked by the Fireâs inability to create one which wasnât radioactive or at the brink of exploding.
Bold, sparkling, a perfect shade of bright rose red and double slits almost reaching her hips; extreme, eye catching yet still passing as elegant. She most definitely didnât have an invitation, she simply stated sheâs here to please the crowd- only realizing the implications after it was said. Ah. Well, at least it granted her entry with an understanding and interested gaze.
Now this was definitely not worth it. While Cindy had her favorite genres, she wasnât deaf or ignorant of other talents. If the other happened to possess one. She was cautious about food and drinks, especially after the misunderstanding of what was she exactly doing here.
The latest company was the most persistent of all, at least his nonsense was a distraction from the disastrous âchoirâ of violins clashing with the occasional piano slamming. Her eyes drifted across the room, only to meet with the ladyâs who she has heard the information-
âDoesnât that scar hurt your business?â the way too sudden question followed by the most lifeless notes she has ever heard from an opera singer made her realize sheâs been too social for too long.
âIs that what you call an A5??â

She declared rather loudly, finally shaking off the clawed hand from her thigh with a âYou, get off me. You,â she continued âchoose a new career.â
Cindy searched for a song that could possibly fit in an operatic setting, and shamelessly she began a slow, intense rhythm of one single sentence,
âA familiar taste â stirred deep in her chest, smooth, strong and warm, letting the sound vibrate through the room as if she didnât need to breath
âof poison â the transition to the bright high note from the starting point was a flawless glide upwards; not her highest just the top of her chest voice. She held the note effortlessly, ringing clear across the room even without a microphone.
âThis is how itâs done.â she stated plainly after the second half minute demonstration

Now she definitely had Beelzebubâs attention. Making her way across the ballroom, other partygoers wisely moved out the queenâs way as she made a beeline towards Cindy. It seemed she had found her entertainment for the evening.

âI must say, darling, that was a stupendous display of talent and strength. Not many people can achieve that note, as you have just demonstrated.â The sin chuckled, casting a pitying glance at the opera singer that Cindy had just bested. Oh well. There went their career she was sure.
âMight I be so bold as to ask your name, my dear? I cannot recall ever seeing someone of your caliber in attendance at one these events before.â
