Sasodei week day 6: touch starved

This is my favourite piece that i made for the event! I'm kinda obsessed with exploring how reanimated Sasori would deal with being human again after so much time.

He is overwhelmed by feelings he can't quite self regulate (i also hc that before turning himself into a puppet, he was very sensitive, and it was something he hated about himself). And Deidara is absolutely not used to see him being so emotional, asking him for confort and above all things, rabidly begging him for physical contact (but he is here for it).

i cant stop thinking about an au with Sasori as an emergency doctor. A nurse goes to his office and tells him "he is here again" and Sasori goes "fuck" and sees Deidara covered in blood saying hi with the DUMBEST expression ever

In honor of sasodei week i wanted to share this cute details of a dumb comic i made with my phone in 2020 with deidara dying sasori's hair blonde by mistake afeter trying to help him with gray hairs.

In the same time i also did a comic of deidara chewing bubblegum with his hands and getting them stuck in his hair lol they were hilarious

This was a quick one, and i dont have much to add here, this was bound to happen.

Fun fact: the gray marker i used to shade deidara's eyes is named C4.

Sasodei week day 3: rock star au

Deidara is a young, enthusiastic and promising musician. Sasori is a very obsessive producer and sound engineer, and way older than he looks, and who in fact kinda hates music.

After every live performance and every recording session, Deidara runs to him in a happy mood, always thanking him, and telling him that he would be nothing without his arrangements, followed by an invitation to spend some time together. And although Sasori always responds with disinterest, lately he started to think that Deidara's music is actually not that bad, maybe he even likes it. Also, he is pretty cute too...

Sasodei week day 2: vulnerable

This is a quick one, i almost didnt make it in time🥶

Despite all his knowledge of anatomy, and being used to blood, and body stuff in general, reanimated Sasori cannot deal with his own body being injured. His brain does not quite finish associating bones and flesh as something of its own, after so long having seen it only as something to work with. He also has a low tolerance for pain after so many years of not feeling anything. Therefore, he simply cannot tolerate it.

So, Deidara offered to heal all his wounds, even the small ones. He often teases him about not being able to treat a simple scratch, but he is genuinely grateful that Sasori allowes him to see such a vulnerable side of him, after all this time together.

I enjoyed drawing this so much, i found out that both this scenes (and their specific arcs) felt so similar. Both ships are so unhinged for eachother.

Also my favourite part of this was Yut Lung and Byakuya switching places
