Do you think Katniss is an unreliable narrator? Yes/No? Why?

Yes, I can agree with that.

But she is an unreliable narrator only because she is often unsure of her own thoughts and feelings, lost and frightened. Katniss is as honest with us as she can be. On the other side, we can't fully understand the other characters because we only see them through Katniss' perception. But it has its own beauty, because we can go through this with her.

As for the first person narration, it gives a good idea of what it feels like to be a tribute. But as for the world outside of the games, I'd be very interested to know other characters' points of view (other side of the tv screen, life in the capitol if you don't agree with the system, and especially Peeta's POV during events of the mj, all that hijacking thing).

We can't completely trust Katniss when it comes to the details of the lore, she just doesn't know much about what's going on around her.

As much as I love original story, I'd like to know more about other sides of this world.
