I'd always theorized that this show actually took place within the 50s/60s/70s, so I think they'd at least have a tiny little TV, a handheld camera, and a rotary phone they'd find somewhere. Not a whole fucking wireless system.
One of the aus I really don’t like the most when being used for fanfiction is aus where it’s neverland but.. also just modern day. Like yeah they do have modern objects, but that doesn’t mean they’ll have WiFi, phones, a tv, etc let alone ELECTRICITY to power anything.
Then other facilities like medical, what the fuck is a hospital doing on the island or one of them. What is a doctor doing there. WHO is dreaming up a doctor. We’re doing this shit Warriorcats style and putting herbal medicine + potions to the test!! If it works then your lucky death or an amputation didn’t kiss you that day. Look I get that neverland is supposed to be made up of kid’s imaginations and all but I really doubt these kids in particular would dream up electronics or medical things, sorry bad Wattpad spiral.
The JatNP people made many questionable decisions, but deciding to nix this Candle Cove-ass boat was not one of them. Honestly, if they did go with this design they should've also made their version of Hook look like this

I get that they’re all supposed to be uber willing to drop everything and help at all times, but i like to think that over time Izzy and cubby lose their patience with people interrupting their treasures hunts so they can solve a problem a grown person should be able to do competently by themselves. Also they just start dragging Jake away when they smee without hook with him

I'm now brainstorming this as to how my OC's (Maggie) powers came to be. Her powers are actually involuntarily, and are meant to be mirrors of Jacob's own emotions, hormones, and how they make him feel. Prolly from Jacob's fairies tryna screw him over.
It's one of those late thoughts of mine but
I can't stop thinking that somewhere in Neverland, there's three fairies out there that were born from Jake, Izzy, and Cubby's laughs

I think I've fallen into another fascination again, I rediscovered a TV show I used to watch as a kid and I'm going through the first fan thoughts that I get whenever I discover a new media of interest. Weirdly enough I'm surprised I haven't picked this up sooner, but the show I rediscovered is Jake and the Neverland Pirates. I've since then been going into a Peter Pan discovery rabbit hole, and it's been my entertainment for the last few days. I might come back again with a fusion design or another fanfic that'll go nowhere. I guess we'll wait and see.
