“And you…?” You removed your headset when Hongjoong stopped talking.

“Did I say that out loud?” Hongjoong’s face reddened and he stuttered, “I-I di-did?” You pressed your hands to the sides of his face, squishing his chubby cheeks, “And you were saying?” You teased swaying side to side, hands still firmly planted on the side of his face. He watched as a small grin appeared on your face. 

Hongjoong decided to uno reverse on you. He regained his composure and swatted your hands away, “And I was meaning to do this.” He pressed a kiss on your lips and your eyes widened. “Because I love you.” Hongjoong cheekily replied, bopping your nose upon seeing your shocked expression.

Having Mingi as your boyfriend meant that most things were placed in a higher shelf to accommodate his height. And it’s one of those days when Mingi forgets to put your favourite mug on the lowest shelf. You struggled as you stretch your hands out as much as you could, only to grab thin air. “Ah, Mingi is so dead when he comes back.” You silently cursed at how high your mug is. You just wanted to unwind by making tea for yourself, but your mug was sky high and it peeked out from the shelf, teasing you for your short stature. 

“Geez.” You looked around for a stool or anything to prop yourself up to grab the mug. Frustrated, you blew a strand of hair out of your face and you attempted to jump up on the counter. But before you even placed your hands down on the marble top to climb up, Mingi materialized from behind you with a giggle. 

“Here, let me.” He stifled his laughter behind his sweater as he easily reached out for your mug. You made a face at Mingi and took the cup from his hands. “I told you to put it on the lowest shelf! Why do you always do this to me?” You gently punched his arm and he grasped his bicep, “I like to think that I am your knight in shining armor. How about that?” Mingi shot you a heart-throbbing smile and you rolled your eyes in mock amusement. You shot him a glare and he held his hands up, “Fine, fine. I like to see you struggle so I can help you because you’re so cute.”

“You know, if you came back a minute later, I would have locked you out of the house.” 

“You wouldn’t do that. You love me too much to do that.”

“I’m sorry, what? I keep getting lost in your eyes.” - Woozi

“Listen to this.” Woozi placed his headphones on your head and pressed the play button. You bopped along to the quirky, plinking keys. Both of you were in the studio listening to Woozi’s latest compositions. “Have you thought of a title?” You removed the headset and returned it to him. 

You leaned back on the roller chair and gazed at him, staring at his chocolate brown orbs. 

Did he know that whenever he was discussing music-making, his eyes would light up and his hands would move animatedly to the music? 

Did he also know that his eyes radiate so much excitement from just thinking about his compositions? 

His blonde hair stuck out at odd angles underneath his black snapback, from running his hand through his hair one too many times. He was outright serious yet adorable.

“...and because it has a summertime vibe maybe Summer? Are you even listening to me?” His eyebrows arched and you asked, “I’m sorry, what? I keep getting lost in your eyes.” You weren’t even kidding. His mouth gaped and his face flushed a baby pink. “W-What? I-I…” You giggled at his confusion, “I like it when your passion kicks you into overdrive. Your eyes tell a whole different story.”

[ On the way home, your phone dinged and you spotted a message sent by Woozi, “Right after you left I had a brilliant idea! Our title is going to be ‘Oh My!’ And it is about falling in love! Thank you so much for earlier~!” and finally followed by “You’re the best inspiration.” You chuckled to yourself and pocketed your phone, still smiling to yourself. ]

“You weren’t supposed to hear that.” - Jeonghan

“I need your help.” Jeonghan pleaded with the maknae Chan. “I’m guessing this is for her. What is it?” Chan asked. “Okay, I need you to come up with a short dance so I can impress her. You know the song Falling For U right?” Chan nodded his head. “Yeah, so it would be awesome if you could help me create like a dance.” “Why me hyung?” 

“Hoshi is busy, Myungho is overseas and Junhwi is sick.” Jeonghan easily ticked off the reasons why Chan was the only best dancer left. “But you’re a good dancer too hyung! It’s my day off!” Chan crossed his arms. “I know, but you’re a genius, so it should be easy for you! I’m good, but you’re better and I want the best for my monthsary.” 

“I don't know whether to be angry at you or not. What’s in for me?” 

Jeonghan knew that question was going to pop up so names his terms carefully, “If you help me out, I’ll bring you out after my date. Yeah, just you. Then we can grab a delicious meal at my aunt’s good friend’s restaurant.” Jeonghan secretly fist pumped as he saw Chan considering about it. 

“I’ve planned out everything. In the evening I’ll bring her out to eat, then bring her here so I can surprise her with a cake and a dance! Please? When you eventually have a girlfriend, I’d do anything to help you too.

“Okay. I’ll help you hyung. I’ll hold your word to it.” Jeonghan internally jumped and he played the part which he wanted Chan to choreograph. “Just the chorus will do. I’m going to connect my phone to the speaker.” Chan nodded yet again and stretch his muscles ideas already forming in his head. 

“Falling For U” started playing and Chan did some simple moves and started stringing dance steps together. “Okay...hyung, just like this and then slide to the right. Say something cheesy, do a sexy dance, then move away from her.” Chan laughed while doing this part and Jeonghan followed, chuckling along with him. 

“Noona! How long have you been standing there?” Seungkwan’s hella vibrant noise sounded down the corridor and Jeonghan immediately stopped dancing. Seokmin pushed open the door, “Jeonghan hyung! I think she’s here to talk to you!” 

Jeonghan wanted to kill himself in this moment. 

“Noona! Seungkwan and I will get going first!” The two clueless boys headed to the recording studio leaving Jeonghan, you and Chan. 

“Uh, this is so awkward I’m just going to leave.” Chan scampered away leaving you two. “This was not part of the plan! How much did you hear?” “Almost everything.” You answer with a small smile. “You weren’t supposed to hear that.” Jeonghan pouted. “Now our monthsary is ruined!” Jeonghan squatted down and gave you a wry smile. “It’s okay. It was touching of you to come up with a dance for me! We can always eat out.” You assured him, moving closer to him to give him a peck on his forehead. 

“Only if you didn’t know about my plan. You haven’t even see me dance yet! Chan told me to do a sexy move and you probably didn’t see it! It goes like this!” Jeonghan knelt down and you squeezed your eyes shut, hands flying to cover your line of vision. 

“My eyes!”
