“Seonghwa.” You whined out from your position on the sofa. “Yah, Park Seonghwa~!” You called out a little louder this time. Seonghwa was sitting in front of the mirror with tubes of lipstick, tint and lip balms scattered across the floor. You didn’t need to check to know that all of those belonged to you. “Are you done with that?” “Which one looks nicer on my lips? Peach or pink? Also I was thinking of matte instead of glossy—”

“—Park Seonghwa! You’ve been sitting there for a good 45 minutes!” You pouted. You weren’t angry at him, but you were just shocked that for someone who likes to be clean, Seonghwa is just creating a painting of different shades of pink and red on his forearms.

“If I tried on every color, I bet you would swoon over how beautiful my lips are no matter what color it is.” You moved over to his side and saw the swatches of lipstick on his forearm. “What is this for? Don’t you have dance practice later today?” He nodded his head, rummaging through your makeup bag. “Wouldn’t the makeup team kill you if you don’t follow their wishes?” You cupped your hands and shoved your lipsticks into a small pile.

“Nah, they are only around when we have events. So tell me, which one suits me?” “If I say the berry-colored one, would you wear that out?” “Of course!” You didn’t think he was serious, hence you decided to have a little fun since you had nothing much to do and it was his morning off. “Okay, scoot over here.” You closely examined the colors on his forearm. “Are these the ones you wanted to try on?” “Yeah, but I couldn’t decide on what would make you want to kiss me.” He winked at you playfully and you rolled your eyes at how cheesy that was.

You compared the different colors available and figured that maybe glossy would make his lips stand out and all the other fans out there would be gushing over how hot he looks and not to forget…

“What has gotten into you? You keep staring at my lips!” Seonghwa smirked and you flicked his forehead. “If anyone stares at your lips for more than 3 seconds, I’m having their ass.” You retorted back and uncapped the pink colored one. You leaned closer to him, but he kept wiggling his eyebrows at you. “One more time you do that I’m going to lock my makeup bag up.” “But my lips look exceptionally pretty today and since you are doing this for me…” You focused and steadied your shaking hand.

Seonghwa being Seonghwa meant that he is handsome. You hate to admit it but doing such a domestic thing makes your heart flutter a little bit. You applied the light pink shade across his lips and lightly dabbed the corner of his mouth while Seonghwa’s eyes were trained on you. Seonghwa turned towards the mirror and nodded in satisfaction. “I love it!” You begin to gather the lipstick but Seonghwa pressed his lips against yours causing your eyes to open wide. “There.” You saw from the corner of your eyes that there was a very obvious pink stain on your lips.

“W-What was that!” You hid your now very red face behind your hand. You had never expected this to escalate this quickly. “Did I mention that I wanted to kiss you?” Seonghwa playfully blew a kiss at you just as you were thinking of something coherent to say when Hongjoong made his presence known. “Guys, let’s get going!” Hongjoong announced. You touched your lips again as Seonghwa got up.

“I guess we need to make it even one day.” Seonghwa hinted causing you to break out of your reverie. “I suppose I would have to try out every single color on you then.” You joked, eyes still averting his gaze. “I can’t wait.” Seonghwa grinned and the other members filed out of their rooms and headed out. “Neither can I, Seonghwa.”

“I miss you.” Soonyoung laid in bed as he cradles his phone next to his ear. “Me too. I wish I had you all to myself, but Seventeen needs a hype man.” He hears your rueful laugh and relaxes a bit. 

“Tell me about your day.” Soonyoung heard you ask and he rattled off about how smooth dancing rehearsal went, the food he ate with the Seventeen members, what he bought for you and his anticipation for the concert the next day. 

The concert was also the sole reason that Soonyoung opted to stay at the dorms which were closer to Pledis Entertainment. He had wanted so desperately to be in your presence. 

Soonyoung paused to catch his breath but when he heard nothing from your end, he questioned, “Sweetie, are you okay?”

“Yeah! I’m fine. I just...feel pretty lonely in bed right now. I want you beside me.” Soonyoung couldn’t see you but could already picture the pout on your face as you hug the big teddy bear he had won for you at a carnival. He had to bring your spirits up and he thought of a pick-up line, “Kiss me if I’m wrong, but dinosaurs still exist right?” A moment of silence passed and Soonyoung felt a little upset that he wasn’t beside you to cheer you up.

“I’m sorry for being unable to make you a little happier—” He then listened to your soft, partly suppressed laughter and a big smile was up on his face. “I thought you were really sad about me not being with you.”

“Soonyoung, you can safely assume that I’m smiling whenever I text or call you. Hearing your voice makes me feel a thousand times better, though it would be best to have you beside me. The bed is lonely.”

He heard the rustling of the bedsheets and knew that you were about to sleep. “Go ahead and sleep. It’s still daytime here.” “Mhm. But I want to hear your voice again. I don’t want to be the last one to end the call.” Soonyoung strained his ears and could make out more rustling sounds. 

“How about I sing you a song and I end the call so I’ll be the last one?” He took your silence as an agreement and begun to sing one of Seventeen’s songs: Smile Flower.

“그래서 눈물 나도록 고맙고 더 미안해 꽉 안아주고만 싶어도 왠지 모르는 불안함에...”

Living with the fashionista The8 meant one thing—he would often criticize your fashion style. You didn’t mind at all (because hey you’d rather listen to him than to go out in something stupid), but sometimes it can get a little overbearing.

“Hao! I’m going out to grab art supplies! Is there anything you need?” You slipped into your sneakers and awaited his response. “Uh, wait.” Minghao stepped out of the bedroom and was heading to the kitchen when he skidded to a halt. He gave a once-over and asked, “And...are you wearing that out? Like right now?” You looked down at the short shorts that was completely hidden by a baggy shirt (Minghao’s shirt, actually), “Yeah, I already put my shoes on.”

“Isn’t that what you wore to sleep?” “What’s wrong? I’m going to wear it out, come back and shower before changing into my comfy jammies.” He opened his mouth and you already knew what he was going to say.

“You are not going to go out in that.”

“But, why? It’s so comfy! It’s called home clothes for a reason, Hao!” You crossed your arms in front of you. You were just going to grab art supplies and that’s all! 

“It’s cold out.” He reasoned and you raised your eyebrows. “And...those shorts! It’s so revealing.” He honestly answered. You pointed at your shoes, “I already wore that and there’s no way I’m removing them.” Minghao sighed and closed the gap between you two in three large strides.

“It’s cold out. Plus I can’t have art students from Dorm 17 looking at you like they want to eat you up.” Minghao possessively put his hand around your body. Dorm 17 belonged to Minghao’s three other friends; Junhwi, Soonyoung and Chan, and all four of them are dance majors while you were an art major. 

“Then what do you suggest I do? I need to finish up my art project.” You pointed to the half completed art piece in the living room. Minghao shrugged off his oversized yellow hoodie, “This hoodie is boyfriend material. See?” He pointed to the label that actually said ‘boyfriend material’ at the hem of the sleeve.

“Isn’t it the one I sew on for you? Geez, you’re so possessive. Alright, alright. I’ll wear it out.” Minghao finally smiled and he pulled it on you. “It fits me just right, but it’s so big on you! It’s touching your knees!” He burst out laughing. “Hey! Stop it! I know I’m not that tall!” Minghao leaned closer, “You should be a model instead. I’ll make you model my shirts.”

“…I really got to go and buy my supplies!” You took a look at the time. You stepped back to open the door and Minghao stopped you. “No. On second thoughts, I’m coming with you. I like you wearing my shirts and all that, but I don’t want anyone else looking at you.” He paused. “Let me change. I need to grab some stuff too.”

“Hao! You’re going to take forever to dress up!”

“I know! I always dress to impress and today I’ll be the best dressed boyfriend!”

“The shop is just downstairs! Let me go already!”
